Wednesday the ladies played their monthly medal stroke & putting competition. The winner with 77 net was K. Cook, followed by A. Brown 80 net & J. Baulch. The pinshot was received by K. Cook.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by Dr Yeates playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner with 28 pts was G. Sippel, runner up A. Stick ocb from A. Holt with 27 pts. The run down continued with B. Lingard & A. Heit 26 pts and R. Cuneo 25 pts. The pin shots were received by A. Heit on 13, A. Skinner received 17, while B. Lingard received 18. This week will be sponsored by BP Boonah playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will sponsored by AIS Insurance playing a 2 person Ambrose 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Friday
The Friendly Friday’s had a good field of 17 players, playing a stableford 10-18 competition. The winner was A.Holt, from runner up A. Stick with 21 pts, followed by R. Fitzgerald & M. Saturday was sponsored by J. Gillett, M. O’Reilly & D. Forsyth playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The boys had winners in each grade with all receiving a meat tray, while the runners up received a fruit tray. The A. Grade winner was G. Eviston 68 net, runner up A. Bennett 70 net. B. Grade winner J. Freiberg 70 net, runner up G. Philp 71 net, while C. Grade winner was R. Philp with 73net, runner up S. Synott ocb with 75 net. The rundown went to D. Forsyth 68 net, I. Kemp 71 net, S. Fahey & J. McGrath 72 net, T. Lynch & B. Lingard 74 net followed by G. Sippel, P. King, R. Cuneo, G. Parker & J. Buganey all with 75 net. The ladies winner was J. Baulch with 72 net, runner up A. Brown with 77 net. The pin shots were received by C. Shannon 4/13, while K. Cook received the ladies, 8/17 was received by J. McGrath, the ladies A.
