To all members re: This Year’s Calcutta

After the club championship had to be rescheduled and changed to a 3-day event many of you have informed the club that you will be unable to play this year. Because of this, combined with a lot of feedback from our members it has been decided that the easiest and fairest way to resolve any concerns is simply to cancel this years’ Calcutta and return all of the money collected. The clubhouse does not profit directly from the Calcutta but is simply a steward in helping manage the funds collected during the player auction.

The plan is to come back even bigger next year and run a well organised event the week before the club championships to help make the Calcutta something special and garner as much interest and excitement as possible around the club championship.

If you have purchased a player in this year’s Calcutta please see Malcolm in the clubhouse to arrange the return of your funds. Once most of the funds have been returned we will be happy to contact any of you who haven’t picked up your investment and ensure it gets returned to you.
