Golf Notes 30/12/24 – 5/1/25

Ladies:

The Ladies are playing a summer competition now teeing off at 7.30 on a Wednesday.

Sporters:

Sporters return this week, sponsored by G Hunt & T Russell playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. 

Summer Comp:

The winner of the Summer Comp that ran from 26/12/24 – 3/1/25 was M Titcomb with 40 pts, runner up was S Bennett ocb from D Stanfield with 39 pts.   The rundown went to B Lawrance, A Bennett & J Gurney 38 pts, S Fahey, I Pocock & S McKenzie 37 pts followed by W Gnech, C Stephan, B Freiberg & W Lovett with 36 pts.

Saturday:   

Saturday, we played a 2 Ball Ambrose competition for our Opening Day kindly sponsored by A Leary & D Ryan.  The winners were W Maudsley & W Gnech with 60.75, runners up were B Freiberg & A Bennett ocb from P Schwarz & S Tran with 63.75.  The rundown went to J Lynch & A Heit 64.5, G Maynard & J McGrath 65 net, M Wyvill & A Parker 65.25, D Spink & J Beasley and P King & R Maudsley 65.75, followed by S Lutter & M Weber and L Moloney & B Lynch 66.5, G Hunt & I Pocock 67 net, D Beazley & W Hall and D Baldwin & B Williams 67.25 and R & S Savery and C Bell & J Miles 67.5.  Pin Shots were received by W Maudsley received 3/12, A Bennett & S Reid received 4/13, K Wilson received 6/15, J Gurney & D Wall received 8/17.   This week will be sponsored by B P Boonah playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition.  Next week will be sponsored by CUB playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.

Sunday:

Sunday, we have a small Social Club teeing off at 7 am using some of our buggies.  Social Play will be available to play amongst them, though we ask you to ring and book your buggy to avoid disappointment if requiring one.
