Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday seen Dr David Yeates hold a single Stableford 1-9+16-18 event and the winner for the afternoon was John Potter having a count back of 29 pts and the runner up was Arthur Featherstone having 29 pts also, following in the rundown were S Edwards with 27 pts, W Hall and D Forsyth each had 26 pts, J Dover had 25 pts and R Brooks and L Roberts each finished up with 24 pts. The NTP on 4 was won by J Potter, 8/17 was won by J Dover and 9/18 was won by G Parker. This week we play a single Stableford 10-18+7-9 event for Boonah BP and the following week we play a 2 Ball Ambrose 1-9+16-18 event for AIS Insurance Brokers Trophy Day.
Friendly Fridays
Last Friday the competition played was a single Stroke 1-9 event and the winner was M McGarrity with 30 nett, runner up was A Featherstone with 33 nett followed by R Brooks with 35 nett, G Henderson with 36 nett and P Manitta with 37 nett. Tee off time is for 2.30pm, prizes up for grabs, Winner, Runner up Ball Rundown and NTP on 4/13. See you all then!
Saturday
Last Saturday seen 58 play a single Stableford monthly mug event for Noel Dover’s Memorial Golf Day, the winner being Alan Bennett with 46 pnts and the runner up Mick McGarrity having 43 pts following in the rundown were T Britton and P Ledlie each having 40 pts, R McGrath had 39 pts, B Hoskin, D Yeates and C Philp each had 37 pts and completing the rundown on 36 pts were J Handley, W Gnech, K Mitchell, B Philp, W Draheim, M Gnech and J Browning. The NTP on 4/13 was received by B Philp, ladies 4/13 was received by K Turner, 8/17 was received by G Roberts and 9/18 was received by J Browning This week will be a 4BBB stroke event and MDGA Qualifier round for GTL Transport’s trophy day, followed by Saturday and Sunday being Darvall Cup (2 day event). The Holden Scramble is fast approaching, timesheets are available for all events mentioned above.
Chookies
There are no chookies this Sunday due to the course being closed from 7am to 1pm, P A Knights social club have a shot gun start for 7.30am.
