Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday saw our veterans play a single Stableford event and the winner for the day was Mark Crowther having a count back of 38 points and the runner up was Kris Cook also having 38 points following in the rundown were V Riley, C Shannon, R Brooks and A Featherstone each had 37 points, B Hall and V Wilson finished up with 35 points each. L Brasington received the encouragement award and K Chivers received the NTP on 4/13, M Crowther received the mens NTP on 8/17 and K Cook received the ladies NTP on 8/17.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday Carlton United Breweries put on their trophy day, playing a 4 BBB Stableford 10-18 plus 7-9 event and the winners for the day were R Maudsley and P Ward having a combined score of 34 points, the runners up were F Johnson and P Ward having a combined score of 33 points. The rundown consisted of F Klan and G Sorensen having 31 points, D Mortimer and D Forsyth had 31 points, S Edwards and B May had 30 points and G Sippel and R Cuneo had 30 points. The NTP on 13 was received by R Cuneo, 8/17 was received by G Parker and 9/18 was received by by B May. This week we play a single Stableford 1-9 plus 16-18 event for Wayne Gnech’s trophy day and the following week we play a single Stableford 10-18 plus 7-9 event for Aaron Gill’s trophy day.
Friendly Fridays
Eight played a single stroke 1-9 event in the Friday Friendly Club last week. The winner for the afternoon was R Brooks having 27 Nett the runner up being S Mudde on a count back of 32 Nett followed by A Featherstone also having 32 Nett, R Featherstone had 34 Nett and M McGarrity had 35 Nett. Tee off time is 3.00pm. See you all then, all welcome to play!
Saturday
Last Saturday seen ”The Girls” being Dot Wall, Gillian Buganey and Kris Cook hold a single Stableford event for their trophy day, thanks Ladies! We had 68 players for the day. The Mens A Grade winner for the day was visitor Denis Dempsey having 41 points and the runner up being Jeff Browning on a count back of 38 points. The Mens B Grade winner was visitor Daryl Wagner having 45 points and the runner up was Phil Manitta having 43 points. The mens C Grade winner was Mick McGarrity having 43 points and the runner up was Wayne Hall on a count back of 40 points. Following in the rundown were D Mortimer with 42 points, M O’Reilly and R Eacott each had 40 points. M Christensen, W Draheim, R Cuneo and G Parker each had 38 points, T Richardson, R Turner, A Hertweck, V Riley, K Mortleman, M Whitney, K Francis and R Philp each had 37 points and completing the mens rundown on 36 points each were S Francis, G Philp, A Browning, T Weatherhead and J Gillett. The ladies winner for the day was Kayleen Turner having 41 points and the runner up was Karen Draheim having 37 points followed by D Wall with 36 points and K Cook had 35 points. The Ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by D Wall, the Mens NTP on 4/13 was received by V Riley, the ladies NTP on 8/17 was received by K Cook, the mens NTP on 8/17 was received by D Mortimer and the NTP on 9/18 was received by A Smith. This Saturday we play a single Stableford monthly mug event for Dr. David Yeates Trophy Day the following two weeks we hold our 2011 Championships, timesheets are out for all these events now!!

The course will be closed this Sunday for a shot gun start of 7.30am, welcome The Miners Social Club. Sorry no chookies this Sunday.
