Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday the veterans played a single Stableford event and the winner for the day was Maureen Maynard with great score of 43 points and the runner up was Bryan Hall with 41 points, following in the rundown were Arthur Featherstone and John Arthur with 40 points, Kris Cook and Glen Sippel both had 38 points, Vic Riley had 37 points, Sheila Mawson, Garth Henderson and John Potter each had 36 points, Col Shannon and Clive Greet each completed the rundown with 35 points. The NTP on 4/13 was received by Dr.David Yeates, the ladies NTP on 8/17 was received by Kris Cook and the mens NTP on 8/17 was received by Garth Henderson. Ailsa Henderson received the encouragement award.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday seen Kalbar Real Estate hold a 2 Ball Ambrose 1-9 event for their trophy day. The winners being G Parker and G Sippel having 29 ¾ points and the runners up were R Webster and B Bennett having 30 points following in the rundown were J Browning and A Browning with 31 points, G Ball and J Potter had 33 ¼ points, R Cuneo and G Sorensen had 33 ¾ points, T Currie and W Hall had 34 ¼ points, M McGarrity and J Shine had 35 ¾ points and B Brown and D Forsyth had 36 points. NTP’s were placed on every hole,No.1: R Webster, No.2: B Bennett, No.3: G Parker, No.4: T Richardson, No.5: G Parker, No.6: R Webster, No.7: G Sippel, No.8: MISSED, No.9: G Parker. This week we play for F Harris and P Ward’s trophy day playing a 4 BBB Stableford 10-18 plus 7-9 (12 hole comp) and the following week we play a single stableofrd 1-9 plus 16-18 (12 hole comp) for Les Roberts trophy day.
Friendly Fridays
Friday Friendly played a single Stableford 1-9 and the winner for the day was Mark Crowther with 24 points and the runner up was Wayne Jackson with 22 points. Tee off time is for 3.00pm, please arrive earlier to put your name in.
Saturday
Last Saturday seen another fine day and great prizes up for grabs! Emergency Sevices held their Open day playing a single Stableford and monthly mug event and the Overall winner for the day was Brian Bennett with a great score of 45 points. The Ladies winner for the day was Jan Baulch with 43 points and the runner up was Anne Brown with 42 points, next in the ladies rundown was Dot Wall with 36 points followed by Kaylene Turner with 30 points. Mens A Grade winner was Geoff Parker with 40 points, AGrade runner up was Greg Maynard on a count back with 39 points followed by Glen Sippel also with 39 points and Gordon Philp had 38 points on a count back for 3rd runner up in A Grade. The B Grade winner was Peter Dadds with 43 points, B Grade runner up was Richard Eacott with 41 points followed by Rob Cuneo with 41 points and completing B Grade rundown was Tim Farmers with 40 points. C Grade winner was Bill Parker with 44 points and C Grade runner up was Wayne Jackson with 42 points, followed by Keith Eugarde with 41 points and completing the C Grade rundown was Dick Forsyth with 40 points. Best Gross was won by Greg Maynard. The rundown was as follows Graham Lutter, Richard Shield, Tony Richardson, Murray O’Reilly, Joe McGrath and Mike Gnech all with 39 points, S. O’Çonnell, Trevor Weatherhead, Wayne Hall, Murray Christensen, Arthur Featherstone and Aaron Gill all had 38 points, Murray Simpson, Vic Riley and Steve OÇonner all had 37 points, Bob Brown, Kris Francis, John Gillett, Paul Ledlie, Peter Eggenhuzen, William Harrison and James Lynch all had 36 points. Chookies
The winner of the chook run was Mick McGarrity with 17 points. No-one held any pin shots for the day! Chookies may tee off before 7am or after 7.30am as we have Rathdowney Wombats playing this Sunday.
Pennants
We played Lowood Pennants side at the Lowood Golf Course last Sunday. Brad Hoskins lost 3/2, Vic Riley lost 4/3, Aidon Browning won 3/2, Jeff Browning won 6/5, Joey Worley squared his game.
