Monday Boonah Veterans
The Veterans played a Stableford event for the Fassifern Open Day and the winner for the day was J. Grimshan with 40 points. The runner up was J. Arthur with 39 points. Following in the rundown were K. Chivers and W. Hall both with 37 points, N. Casey and R. Harriman both had 36 points, P. Gaul and J. Potter both had 35 points. Completing the rundown were J. Leahy, B. Brown, C. Shannon, J. McAllan, B. Broderick, T. Currie, J. Stanhope and R. Parnell all having 34 points. Ladies winner for the day was C. Vandaalen with 40 points and runner up was K. Cook with 39 points. The ladies rundown was as follows J. Edwards and A. Brown both with 36 points, S. Mawson and R.Featherstone both had 35 points and J. Meakin had 34 points. The mens NTP on 4/13 was received by K. Chivers, mens 8/17 NTP was received by P. Gaul and ladies 4/13 was received by Kris Cook and ladies 8/17 NTP was won by C. VanDaalen.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday seen a fine day for Spar Supermarket’s Trophy Day, the competition being a single stroke 1-9 event and the winner for the day was Fred Johnson having 31 nett and the runner up was Frank Klan on a count back of 32 nett. Following in the rundown were T Sorensen also having 32 nett, R Cuneo had 33 nett, B Sampson, B Brown, D Forsyth and R Scells each had 34 nett, L Vandenbrink had 35 nett and A Featherstone, W Jackson, W Hall and J Browning each finished up with 36 nett. F Johnso, R Cuneo and J Browning had the best gross for the day, 38 The NTP on number 4 was received by T Currie, number 8 was received by T Sorensen and number 9 was received by J Browning. This week we play for Mitre 10 Hardware Trophy playing a single Stableford 10-18 plus 7-9 (12 hole comp) and the following week we play for Kalbar Real Estate Trophy playing a 2 ball ambrose event.
Friendly Fridays
Yay, finally a little ray of sunshine for the Friday Friendly crew. Last Friday we played a single stroke 1-9 event and the winner for the afternoon was Clive Greet having 31 nett and the runner up was Arthur Featherstone having a count back of 33 nett followed by Vern Wilson also having 33 nett and Rose Featherstone and Bob Jones each finished up with 34 nett. Tee off time is 3.00pm, arrive earlier to arrange someone to play with all players welcome!
Saturday
Last Saturday Boonah BP (Maudsley Brothers) held Single Stableford competition. Many thanks to Russell and Warren Maudsley for a great day! The winner for the day was Paul Gerhardt with 47 points and the runner up on a count back was Kris Francis from Stu Fahey both having 46 points. Following in the rundown was Peter Egginhuizen with 45 points, Bob Brown with 44 points, Phil Ward had 43 points, Dick Forsyth had 42 points, Al Bennett, Ian Kemp, John Handley, Geoff Parker and Graham Noe all had 41 points, Bruce May and Fred Johnson both had 40 points, Warren Maudsley, Gavin Crouch, Jason Smith, Ross McGrath and Wayne Jackson all had 39 points, Col Shannon, Trevor Weatherhead, Vic Riley, Bill Gotke, Tony Moller and Jamie Harris all had 38 points. Finishing the rundown with 37 points were Chris Philp, John Stenzel, Geoff Ball and Gary Benstead. Ladies winner for the day was Kris Cook with 38 points and runner up was Anne Brown with 37 points. NTP’s for the ladies on 4/13 was won by Anne Brown, Mens 4/13 was won by Bill Gotke, 8/17 was received by Chris Philp, 9/18 was won with an eagle by Ian Kemp. Warren Maudsley also one of the sponsors for the day had 2 eagles in his game, number 3/12 and on 6/15! Well done Warren! The Macquarie Motors Pro Pin is currently being held by Jan Baulch at 2.69m. This week we play for trophies donated by Peter King, Joe McGrath and John Handley playing a single stroke monthly medal event. The following Saturday will be Emergency Services Open Day playing a single Stableford and Monthly Mug Event. Timesheets are available for the month of November.

Will have results for chook run next week. This week chookies may tee off either before 8am or after 8.30am, only a small social club.
