Monday Boonah Veterans

There was no golf held due to rainy weather last week.

Wednesday Sporters

Last week Arthur Featherstone held a single Stableford 1-9 + 16-18 for his trophy day.  The winner for the day was Lou Vandenbrink having 29 points and the runner up was Hal Gwynne having 28 points.  Following in the rundown were Geoff Parker having 27 points, Les Roberts had 26 points, Fred Johnson had 25 points and Mick McGarrity had 24 points.  The NTP on number 4 was received by Glen Sippel, 8/17 was received by Joe McGrath and 9/18 was received by Fred Johnson.  This week is PUB DAY, one of the biggest golf days for sporters.  The event is a single Stableford 10-18 and the following week is a single stroke 1-9 event for Spar Supermarket trophy day.  See you all then!

Friendly Fridays

There were no Friendly Friday golf due to rainy weather. Tee off time is 3.00pm all players welcome!

Saturday

Last Saturday the course was underwater with run off from the Friday evening rain. This Saturday is Bendigo Bank Trophy Day playing a 4BBB Stroke, Medley event. Next Saturday we play for trophies donated by Boonah BP (Maudsley Brothers) playing a Single Stableford.

Sunday

Sunday was the Boonah Ambulance Open Day. Unfortunately we had only a small field. There was a great supply of prizes donated for the day. Many thanks to all involved with the organization of the day! The winner for the day was Simon Francis with 42 points, the runner up was Ian Kemp. Next in the rundown was Wayne Gnech with 41 points, John Shine with 40 points, Wayne Jackson with 38 points, Peter Eggenhuizen and Graham Noe both had 37 points, John Handley and Paul Gerhardt both had 36 points, Tim Domjahn had 35 points. Finishing the rundown were Gordon Philp and Geoff Ball both with 34 points and Jeff Stephan with 33 points. Social winner Peter O’’Neil with 72 nett and runner up was Paul Shore with 74 nett. Chookies can tee off on next Sunday before 7.30am or after 8.30 am.

Pennants

Sunday the Pennants team played Rosewood at Sandy Gallop. Unfortunately the boys lost 4 ½ to ½ . Joey Worley, Arthur Featherstone and Greg Maynard all lost their games and Vic Riley halved his game. One game was forfeited.
