Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday Veterans played a single Stableford event and the mens winner for the day was J Arthur having 44 points and the runner up was J Potter having 42 points following in the mens rundown were A Featherstone having 40 points, D Fitzgerald had 39 points, T Haley and B Hodder each had 37 points, M Crowther, R Grant, B Hall, T Currie and N Casey each had 36 points and W Hall and D Berry completed the mens rundown with 35 points each. The ladies winner for the day was K Cook having 36 points and the runner up was S Haley having 34 points followed by W OÇonnell and J Edwards each having 33 points and S Mawson had 32 points. The NTP on 4/13 was received by P O’Loughlin, mens 8/17 was received by M Donald and the ladies 8/17 was received by S Haley. M Crowther had an Eagle on number 7. Congratulations! The encouragement award went to R Lever.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday Sugarloaf Bakery held a single stroke 10-18 event for their trophy day. The winner being B Brown on a count back of 33 nett, runner up was D Forsyth also having 33 nett following in the rundown were R Cuneo, F Johnson and J Handley each had 35 points and M Matthews had 36 points. The best Gross for the day was 41 by R Cuneo. The NTP on number 13 was received by M Matthews, 17 nobody, 18 D Forsyth. This week we play a single stableford 1-9 plus 16-18 for A Featherstone’s Trophy Day and the following week is PUB DAY playing a single Stableford 10-18 event, so start getting your teams together.
Friendly Fridays
There were no Friendly Friday golf due to rainy weather. Tee off time is 3.00pm all players welcome!
Saturday
Last Saturday was a club trophy day, 30 golfers played a single Stableford/Monthly Mug event and the winner for the day was John Bonk having 43 points and the runner up was G Parker on a count back of 40 points following in the rundown were B Kitchen also having 40 points, J McGrath had 39 points, J Handley had 38 points and G Kitchen and P Ledlie each finished up with 36 points. The ladies winner for the day was D Wall having 35 points and K Cook received runner up with 32 points. The Ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by K Cook and the Mens NTP on 4/13 was received by T Currie, 8/17 was received by A Hertweck and 9/18 was received by G Parker. Pro Pin is still up for grabs. This week we play a single Stableford event for Raceview Sand and Gravel and this Sunday is the Boonah Ambulance Open Day, shotgun starts for 7.30am and 12.30pm. Timesheets are available for these events and more.
Chookies
Didn’t see any chookies out last Sunday, though it was perfect for ducks, there are no chookies due to the Boonah Ambulance Open Day, holding shotgun starts. Thanks!
