Veterans:
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was R Lawrie with 40 pts, runner up was T Russell wit 38 pts. The ball run down went to M Gray & D Forsyth 36 pts, E O’Farrell, W Hill & A Swift 35 pts, S Dennis and C Seilaff 34 pts followed by K Sawtell 33 pts and R Stinson, S Bailey & A McNeill 32 pts. Pin shots were received by A Swift & G Sharpe while A Brown received the Ladies. The Encouragement Award went to A Stick while the members draw jackpotted. Next week will be a single stroke competition.
Ladies:
The Ladies played a stableford competition for Helen Roebigs’ trophy. The winner was A Brown with 32 pts, runner up A Tomlinson with 29 pts. Anna received the pin shot on 4/13 while Anne received 8/17. H Roebig won the Money Line. This week will be sponsored by K Cook playing a stableford competititon. Next week will be a stableford for E Meaghers’ trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by R Fitzgerald playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was L Vandenbrink with 28 pts, runner up M O’Reilly with 27 pts. The ball run down went to G Parker 26 pts followed by G Searle & L Blunt 25 pts and B Beasley 24 pts. Pin shots were received by L Blunt on 13 while B Beasley received both 17 & 18. The A Grade winner was B Lawrance with 41 pts, runner up S Shipton with 37 pts followed by K Sawtell with 34 pts. B Grade winner was G Parker with 37 pts, runner up M Boyd with 36 pts followed by C Perrem ocb with 35 pts. C Grade winner was T Britton with 42 pts, runner up J Miles 33 pts followed by M O’Reilly with 32 pts. The Ladies winner was K Turner with 39 pts, runner up T Reid-Pocock 36 pts followed by A Leary with 33 pts ocb.
