Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 29 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was T Russell with 38 pts, runner up was A McNeill with 36 pts. The ball run went E Meagher & L Blunt 35 pts, E O’Farrell & S Dennis 34 pts, followed by J Gurney 33 pts and G Sharpe & D Forsyth 32 pts. Pin shots went to J Gurney & K Eugarde for the men while E Meagher received the ladies. The Encouragement award went to K Eugarde, while the members draw jackpotted. Next week will be the Scenic Rim Day at Canungra playing a stableford competition with a 8.30 shotgun start.
Ladies:
The Ladies was washed out on Wednesday. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition, sponsored by Anna’a Hair. Next week will be a stableford competition and the 1st round of the Consistency Cup.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by The Dover Family for the Joe Dover Memorial playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was R Cuneo ocb from runner up B Beasley with 25 pts. The ball run down went to B Brown 24 pts and T Roebig & J Haigh with 23 pts. Pin shots were received by R Holland on 4, while R Cuneo received 8 while B Beasley received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was R Holland with with 4 Kings. This week will be sponsored by D Miles from Miles Ahead Plumbing, playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by W Gnech playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was washed out. This week will be a single a single stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by G J Walsh & Co. This will be the 1st round of the Bi Rite Challenge. Next week will be the 4BBB stroke medley Championship for a club trophy.
Sunday: No Social Club this week. Social play will be available. We have the 9 hole competition for anyone who wishes to play teeing off at 1.30. Be there at 1 so teams can be arranged. Ring the club to make a booking or for any further details.
