Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 29 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was D Forsyth with 38 pts, runner up was R Stinson with 37 pts. The ball run went S Dennis 36 pts, M Kuhnemann 35 pts, K Rhodes 34 pts, followed by A Brown & D Beazley 33 pts and R Eacott 31 pts. Pin shots went to G Philp & D Forsyth for the men while A Brown & M Kuhnemann received the ladies. The Encouragement award went to T Norris, while the members draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies:
The Ladies played a stableford competition for a club trophy, on Wednesday. The winner was K Turner with 34 pts, runner up D Kuhnemann with 33 pts. The pin shot was won by A Brown. This week will be another stableford competition for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by N Hooke playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was L Blunt with 46 net, runner up was G Lutter ocb from T Roebig & J McGrath with 48 net. The ball run down continued with N Hooke, M O’Reilly & J Mavin with 49 net. The best gross for the day was G Hunt with 55 off the stick. Pin shots were received by R Maudsley on 4, L Blunt received 8 while J Mavin received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was N Hooke with 5 Aces. This week will be sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a stableford 10-18+ 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by The Dover Family for the Joe Dover Memorial playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford/monthly mug competition, sponsored by The Fassifern Guardian. The winner was M O’Reilly ocb from runner up D Mortimer with 39 pts. The Ladies winner was A Brown with 33 pts, runner up T Reid Pocock with 32 pts ocb. The ball run down went to S Bennett 37 pts, R Philp, K Milligan & C Wilson with 36 pts, W Hill 35 pts, W Maudsley 34 pts followed by A Bennett 33 pts and C Shannon, K Turner, J Knickel, S Reid, M Kuhnemann & L Blunt with 32 pts. Pin Shots were received by J McGrath & A Tomlinson on 4/13, B Freiberg & K Turner received 8/17 while D Wall received 9/18. This week will be a 4 Ball Ambrose competition, sponsored by The Good Times Pub Group. Next week will be a single stableford competition, sponsored by Tony Hollands Funerals. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start.
