Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 39 players play a stableford competition. The winner was L Blunt with 41 pts, runner up was R Burnett ocb from A Swift with 37 pts. The ball run continued with J Gurney & R Lawrie 36 pts, M Gray 35 pts, followed by B Brown, T Lynch & D Forsyth 33 pts and R Holland & G Hunt 32 pts. The ladies winner was A Brown with 30 pts runner up S Kopelke with 27 pts ocb. Pin shots went to A Swift & D Forsyth for the men while A Brown received the ladies. The Encouragement award went to J Sippel, while the members draw jackpotted. Next week will be a 4BBB stableford competition.
Ladies:
The Ladies now play a 9 hole competition from Wednesday morning to Tuesday afternoon. You can play as many times during the week just pay at the bar before you start and register for the competition in the book in the Ladies Room. The 18 hole competitions start in February.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by The Maynard family for the John Maynard Memorial, playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was D Forsyth with 46 net ocb from runner up B Brown. The ball run down went to G Parker 47 net, G Hunt & G Lutter 48 net, followed by W Hall & R Fitzgerald with 49 net. Pin Shots went to D Forsyth on 4, R Southwell received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The best gross for the day was G Parker with 55 off the stick. The Dugandan Dice winner was G Lutter in a toss off. This week will be sponsored by R Scells for the John Allen Memorial playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by L Van DenBrink playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by B P Boonah. The A Grade winner & monthly medal winner was J Gurney with 70 net, runner up K Wilson with 73 net. B Grade winner was W Hill with 74 net, runner up R Eacott with 75 net. C Grade winner was T Bennett with 71 net, runner up W Hall with 72 net ocb. The Ladies winner was J Wilson ocb from runner up Z Eviston with 76 net. The ball run down went to W Maudsley 71 net, G Grimsey 72 net, B May, P McNiven & R Brooks 73 net, followed by B Brown 74 net & A Bennett, B & G Philp and G Martin with 75 net. Pin Shots were received by B Freiberg on 4/13, T Reid Pocock & J Gurney received 8/17 while B May received 9/18. This week will be sponsored by The Boonah Girls playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. Next week will be a Club Trophy playing a stableford competition.
