Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 27 players play a stableford competition. The winner was A Brown with 38 pts, runner up M Maynard with 37 pts. The ball run down went to R Holland with 36 pts, K Rhodes, B Brown & D Mortimer 34 pts, followed by T Russell, R Burnett & M Hassan 33 pts and W Hill, M Gray & L Blunt with 32 pts. Pin shots went to G Parker & K Rhodes for the men while A Brown received the ladies. The Encouragement award went to R Major, while the members draw jackpotted.
Ladies:
The Ladies fixtures have been completed for this year. We now play a 9 hole competition from Wednesday morning to Tuesday afternoon. You can play as many times during the week just pay at the bar before you start and register for the competition in the book in the Ladies Room.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Dover & Sons for the 1st round of the Championships playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was M Crowther with 45 net, runner up was M Gray with 46 net ocb from L Blunt. The ball run down continued with R Stinson 47 net, followed by J McGrath, W Hall & J Handley 48 net and W Wieland & G Eviston 49 net. The best gross for the day was B Lawrance with 54 off the stick. Pin Shots went to J Handley on 4, G Parker received 8 while R Cuneo received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was W Hall. This week will be sponsored by Dover & Sons for the 2nd round of the Championships playing a stroke 10 – 18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The best gross for the Championships is sponsored by W Gnech. Next week will be sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. This will be followed by the Sporters AGM & Xmas Drinks.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a 2 ball Ambrose competition, for the Boonah Lions Open Day (The Trevor Dover Memorial). The winners were B Lawrance & A Parker with 60¾, runners up were J Gurney & B King with 61½. The ball run down went to A Heit & A Van Ansem 62½, M Weber & S Lutter 62¾, A Leary & G Clark 64 net, followed by D Mortimer & P McNiven 64¾ and B May & J Browning 65¾. The Social winners were T & T Gnech, runners up were J Dover & S Bennet. Pin shots were received by W Martin & S Grace on 4/13, C & J Wilson received 8/17 while S Lutter received 9/18. The Accurate Drives were received by G Martin & D Wall. The Mystery Drive was received by M Gnech. This week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power playing a stableford competition.
