Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 33 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was J Gurney ocb from runner up G Philp with 39 pts. The ball run went to W Hill 38 pts, D Beazley & N Hassan 35 pts followed by R Fitzgerald, T Russell, E Windolf, R Stinson & R Patrick 34 pts and B Brown 33 pts. The ladies winner was M Maynard with 37 pts, runner up K Turner with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by L Blunt & M Hassan while K Turner & E Meagher received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to W Delaney while the Members Draw was jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition. The Boonah Vets Open Day has been rescheduled to the 20th September.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, sponsored by Rockalicious. The winner was A Brown with 70 net, runner up A Tomlinson ocb from S Grace with 76 net. The Accuracy Drive was won by J Dover. Next week will be a single stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by S Bennett from Boonah Business Supplies playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competiton. The winner was S Fahey with 27 pts, runner up M Crowther ocb from W Hall with 26 pts. The ball run down continued with W Maudsley, M O’Reilly, B Beasley & B Brown with 25 pts followed by C Farnan with 24 pts. Pins shots were received by G Parker on 4, C Farnan received 8 while J McGrath received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was J Ward. This week the sporters will be sponsored by Scenic Rim Landscaping Supplies, playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by J Handley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the Graham Maynard Memorial playing a stableford competition, sponsored by G & M Maynard. Thanks for your continued support. The winner was N Toohey with 40 pts, runner up C Bell with 39 pts, followed by B Lawrance 38 pts, J Grimsey & G Clark with 37 pts ocb. The ladies winner was D Wall with 39 pts, runner up J Pfingst with 37 pts. The ball run down went to S Bailey 37 pts, W Gnech 36 pts, R Eacott 35 pts, A Parker 34 pts and T Bennett, J Lynch, K Cook & A Leary with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by K Sawtell & S Reid on 4/13, J McGrath & S Reid received 8/17 while B May received 9/18. K Milligan received the Accurate Drive. This week will be the Furniture Court Open Day with all money raised to be donated to our local SES. This is a 12.30 shot gun start playing a stableford competition. If you had previously put your name down on the timesheet it was moved over to the reschedule date. If you had booked in on line and can’t play please delete your name.
