Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 39 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was T Russell with 42 pts, runner up D Forsyth with 39 pts ocb from R Humphrey. The ball run continued with R Stinson 38 pts, D Dann & C Petroholis 37 pts, followed by K Sawtell, L Blunt, N Halls, W Hill & S Edwards 35 pts and G Philp, G Parker & R Fitzgerald 33 pts. The ladies winner was M Maynard with 34 pts, runner up K Cook ocb with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by S Dennis & R Humphrey while J Sippel & M Maynard received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to J Edwards while the Members Draw was jackpotted. The Boonah Vets Open Day has been rescheduled to the 20th September.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played The Annette Geiger Memorial playing a stableford competition, sponsored by Elite Meats. The winner was A Tomlinson with 35 pts, runner up A Brown with 31 pts. Next week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by G Eviston for the Hal Gwynne Memorial playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was L Van DenBrink with 31 pts, runner up G Searle with 29 pts. The ball run down went to B Brown with 26 pts, R Stinson & G Parker with 25 pts followed by J Browning with 24 pts. Pins shots were received by M O’Reilly on 13 while B Lawrance received 17. The Dugandan Dice winner was P Ward. This week the sporters will be sponsored by S Bennett from Boonah Business Supplies playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competiton. Next week will be a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition sponsored by Scenic Rim Landscaping Supplies.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Asahi Lifestyle Beverages playing a stableford competition. The winner was W Gnech with 42 pts, runner up ocb was B Philp from S Lutter, W Hill & D Mortimer with 37 pts. The ladies winner was A Leary ocb from runner up S Grace & A Tomlinson with 37 pts. The ball run down continued with P Francis, S Edwards, L Blunt & K Milligan 36 pts followed by G Parker & S Bailey 35 pts and P Dadds, T Grimshaw, R Eacott, M Maynard & D Wall 34 pts. Pin shots were received by B Davey & J Pfingst on 4/13, K Milligan & A Leary received 8/17 while T Grimshaw received 9/18. S Grace received the Accurate Drive & B Spall received the Long Drive. This week will be the Maynard Memorial playing a stableford competition. This will be the last round of the Bi Rite Challenge. Due to Covid Furniture Court Open Day has been rescheduled to the 11th September. This is a 12.30 shot gun start playing a stableford competition.
