Veterans:
Monday 29 Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was G Philp with 36 pts, runner up S Dennis with 33 ocb from N Casey. The run down continued with E Windolf & C Shannon 32 pts, B Brown & T Russell 31pts and C Petroholis & W Hill 30 pts. Pin shots went to A Swift & S Dennis for the men while K Cook & S Kopelke received the ladies. G Sharpe received the Encouragement Award, while the Members Draw was won by J Edwards. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Sporters:
This week the Sporters was sponsored by D Rhodes from Scenic Rim Pest Management, playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was L Blunt with 45 net, runner up M Hassan with 46 net. The ball run down went to D Forsyth 47 net and B Lawrance & L Vandenbrink 48 net. The best gross for the day went to W Maudsley with 54 off the stick. Pin shots were received by L Blunt on 4, D Forsyth received 8 while G Parker received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was C Farnan with 5 Jacks. Saturday:
Saturday we played a stableford/monthly mug competition, sponsored by W Martin, P Dadds, N Toohey & R Higgs. The winner was T Bennett with 40 pts, runner up B Lawrance 39 pts, followed by C Wilson 38 pts, K Wilson, J Pfingst & B Freiberg 37 pts. The ball run down went to W Martin 36 pts, P Dadds, C Perrem, C Shannon & D Mortimer 35 pts and M Hassan, W Maudsley, S Taylor & Z Eviston 34 pts. The ladies front 9 winner was M Maynard with 19 pts, J Pfingst was the back 9 winner also with 19 pts. Pin shots were received by W Maudsley & M Kuhnemann on 4/13, A Tomlinson & K Wilson received 8/17 while B Lawrance received 9/18. We had K Sawtell win the Long Drive, J Handley win the Mystery Drive and R Brooks win the Accurate Drive. Sunday:
Sunday we played the Mens & Ladies Foursome Championships. The mens champions are J Browning & B Beasley with 120, runners up were A Bennett & B Freiberg with 123. The net winners were S Lutter & R Anderson with 111¼, runners up were D Forsyth & B Brown with 111¾. The Ladies Champions are A Brown & B Dover with 139, runners up D Wall & K Turner with 144. The net winners were S Grace & K Cook with 116, runners up were M Kuhnemann & M Maynard with 117½. This week we have a Social club teeing off at 7.30, using all the buggies. Social play will be available after they have completed their rounds. This should be around 12.30pm. Ring the club to make a booking or for any further details.
