Veterans:
Monday 23 Veterans played a sroke competition. The winner was N Casey with 73 net, runner up G Hunt with 74 net. The run down went to J Gurney, D Dann & M Hassan with 75 net, A Swift, D Forsyth & T Russell 76 net and LBlunt, W Hill, R Humphrey & S Dennis 77 net. Pin shots went to D Dann & T Russell for the men while M Maynard received 8/17 for the ladies. A McNeill received the Encouragement Award, while the Members Draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition, for the Scenic Rim district day.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies played a stableford competition for the Audrey Morris Memorial, kindly sponsored by Josie Newlove. The winner was J Sippel ocb from runner up B Dover with 32 pts. H Roebig received the pin shot on 8/17. Next week will be a 2 ball Ambrose competition for Club trophies.
Sporters:
This week the Sporters was sponsored by R Scells on behalf of the Kalbar Community Bank playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was B Beasley with 24 pts, runner up J Gurney with 23 pts, followed by M Crowther with 22 pts, L Blunt & D Forsyth 21 pts. The ball run down went to A Lutter, M O’Reilly & G Searle 20 pts and C Farnan, G Eviston & R Maudsley with 19 pts. Pin shots were hard to get as only B Beasley received 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was B Lawrance. This week will be sponsored D Rhodes from Scenic Rim Pest Management, playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by R & W Maudlsey of B P Boonah playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a 4BBB stableford for a club trophy. The winners were K Cook & S Grace with 44 pts, runners up were S Lutter & M Weber with 42 pts ocb. The ball run down went to J Wilson & A Tomlinson 42 pts, W Gnech & D Mortimer, R Brooks & T Britton, and M Herrington & S Lutter 40 pts, followed by M O’Reilly & D Forsyth and W Martin & N Toohey 39 pts. Pin shots were received by B Lawrance on 4/13, A Tomlinson & S Lutter received 8/17 while W Maudsley received 9/18. This week will be sponsored by W Martin, P Dadds, N Toohey & R Higgs playing a stableford/monthly mug competition. Sunday will be our Mens & Ladies Foursomes. Next week will sponsored by D Forsyth, J Gillett & M O’Reilly playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition.
