Veterans:
Monday 29 Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was G Hunt ocb from runner up M Gray & G Philp with 36 pts. The run down continued with R Humphrey & R Holland 35 pts, R Patrick 34 pts and D Forsyth, N Casey, M Hassan & G Gray 32 pts. Pin shots went to T Lynch & D Gittens for the men while J Edwards received 8/17 for the ladies. R Fitzgerald received the Encouragement Award and G Philp won the Members Draw. Next week will be a stableford competition. Boonah’s Scenic Rim district day will be on June 28 with a single stableford.
Ladies:
No ladies competition last week due to the weather.
Sporters:
This week the Sporters was sponsored by S Fahey playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was D Forsyth with 25 pts, runner up G Grimsey with 24 pts. Pin shots went to M Hassan on 4, and A Lutter received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was R Scells. This week will be sponsored by R Scells on behalf of the Kalbar Community Bank playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by D Rhodes from Scenic Rim Pest Management, playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a 2 ball ambrose competition for the All Saints Open Day. The winners were W Gnech & B King with 63¾, runners up were B Lawrance & J Lynch with 65¼, followed by A Lutter & R Maudsley with 65¾. The Social winners were J Wilson & S Parker, runners up were S McKenie & T Reid Pocock, followed by J Grimsey & P Newlove. The ball run down went to N Toohey & P Dadds 67 net, B May & J Beasley 67¼, J Gurney & D Mortimer 67¾, B Freiberg & C Wilson 68 net, S Francis & Z Eviston 69, followed by S Bailey & K Sawtell 69¼, V Bird & M Gnech and P King & J Handley 69½ and B Davey & R Humphrey 69¾. Pin shots were received by A Lutter on 3/12, B Freiberg received 4/13, B King received 6/15, J Beasley received 8/17 while B Davey received 9/18. This week will be a 4BBB stableford for a club trophy. Next week will be sponsored by W Martin, P Dadds, N Toohey & R Higgs playing a stableford/monthly mug competition.
