Veterans:
The Veterans had 40 players tee off for a stableford competition on Monday. The winner was T Richardson ocb from runner up J Gurney with 35 pts. The Ladies winner was D Wall ocb from I Baker with 28 pts. The ball run down went to G Parker 34 pts, L Baker 33 pts, followed by M Gray, R Fitzgerald & G Philp 31 pts and D Beazley 30 pts. The pin shots went to G Parker & J Gurney while D Wall & M Kuhnemann received the Ladies. The Encouragement Award went to A Stick, while the Members Draw was won by G Parker. Next week will be a stableford competition, now teeing off at 8.30 for the winter.
Ladies:
No Ladies this week due to the course being closed. This week will be a club trophy playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition.
Sporters:
No Sporters was held this week due to the course being closed. This week the Sporters will be sponsored by G Parker & L Blunt playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Friendly Friday:
Friendly Fridays had 11 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was R Stinson ocb from runner up B Lawrance with 17 pts. Both D Mortimer & K Sawtell received a ball in the run down, while S Bailey received the NAGA.
Saturday:
Saturday was The Fassifern Bushrangers Open Day. Thanks to Ian and his helpers for making the day a success. The winner was S Taylor ocb from runner up J Archibald with 38 pts, followed by G Parker & B May with 36 pts. The Ladies winner was S McKenzie with 32 pts, runner up E Archibald with 29 pts, followed by S Grace with 28 pts. The ball run down went to P Leath & W Hill 34 pts, K Sawtell 33 pts, followed by R Anderson, B Beasley, T Bennett, S Bailey & P McNiven with 32 pts and J Handley, G Maynard, N Pelllin & J Grimsey with 31 pts. The Social winner was Ben ocb from Ian with 78 net. Pin shots went to A Bennett on 1/10, B Lawrance received 2/11, B Beasley received 3/12, M Weber & J Wilson received 4/13, A Parker received 5/14, B McCauley received 6/15, W Maudsley received 7/16, P McNiven & J Wilson received 8/17 while W Martin received 9/18. This week-end will be the start of our Championships playing both Saturday & Sunday. Next week-end will be the 3rd & final round of our Championships.
Sunday: We will be playing our Championships this week end and next week end. Social play will only be available after the last group on the timesheet have finished their first 9 holes. Usually around 2.30pm.
