Veterans:
Monday the Verterans played a stableford competition. The winner was L Blunt ocb fron runner up R Holland with 36 pts. The run down went to S Dennis, G Sharpe & A Swift 35 pts, M Sim & D Beazley 34 pts, R Humphrey 33 pts, E Meagher 32 pts, M Kuhnemann 31 pts, followed by G Hunt 30 pts and B Brown, K Kirgis & M Gray 29 pts. The Members Draw was won by E Meagher,. while the Encouragement Award went to R Patrick. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday was the 1st 18 hole competition for the year, playing a stableford competition for a club trophy. The winner was K Cook ocb from runner up A Tomlinson also ocb from E Meagher with 31 pts. The run down went to B Dover 29 pts and M Kuhnemann & A Brown 28 pts.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by John Gillett playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was A Lutter with 28 pts, runner up W Wieland ocb with 27 pts. The run down went to W Maudsley 27 pts, W Hall 26 pts, followed by L Blunt 25 pts and M Hassan & M Gray 24 pts. The Dugandan Dice winner was W Hall. Pin Shot draws went to R Stinson, M Hassan & R Cuneo. This week Sporters will be sponsored by N Hooke playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday:
Friendly Friday had 11 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was K Sawtell ocb from runner up S Bailey with 20 pts. The run down went to J McAntee with 18 pts while the NAGA went to T Stinson. This is now running back to the old format of handicapping. Be there at least by 2.45 for a 3 pm start.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Boonah Real Estate. The A Grade winner & Monthly Medal winner was K Milligan with 68 net, runner up was G Williams ocb from D Smith with 69 net. B Grade winner was J Etherden with 67 net, runner up was J Handley ocb from L Blunt with 70 net. C Grade winner was J Wright with 72 net, runner up B Sampson ocb from P Dadds with 73 net. The Ladies winner was S Reid with 74 net, runner up was K Turner ocb from A Leary with 75 net. The run down went to M Gnech, M Heatherington & S Buckley 70 net followed by J Gurney, A Van Ansem, K Sawtell & B Hamlin 71 net, P Gerhardt, A Gemmell, G Philp, S Bailey, C Petrohilos & K Ward 72 net and M Carter, D Forsyth & A Waters 73 net. This week will be sponsored by The Fassifern Guardian & Tribune playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.
