Veterans:
Monday the Verterans returned playing a stableford competition. The winner was L Blunt with 34 pts, runner up D Forsyth with 33 pts. The run down went to C Shannon & G Philp 32 pts. G Hunt 31 pts. T Russell & K Rhodes 30 pts followed by G Parker, M Gray, M Fitpatrick & R Stinson 29 pts. The ladies winner was A Brown with 29 pts, runner up E Meagher 28 pts. The Members Draw was received by G Parker while the Encouragement Award went to J Edwards. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition for the John Maynard Memorial sponsored by his family. The winner was K Ward ocb from runner up M Gray with 29 pts. The run down went to J Ward 27 pts, T Russell 26 pts, G Eviston, G Searle, G Lutter & J Handley 25 pts followed by R Maudsley & G Hunt with 24 pts. The Dugandan Dice winner was D Forsyth. Pin Shot draws went to W Wieland, A Lutter & P Ward. This week sporters play the John Allen Memorial sponsored by R Scells playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 + 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by L Vandenbrink playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by the Boonah Girls playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. The A Grade winner & Monthly Mug winner was W Martin ocb from runner up R Higgs with 38 pts. B Grade winner was D Forsyth with 37 pts, runner up was R Brooks with 36 pts. C Grade winner was N Perrin with 32 pts, runner up was G Martin with 31 pts. The Ladies was D Wall with 35 pts, runner up M Kuhnemann ocb with 33 pts. The ball run down went W Maudsley & W Gnech 36 pts, I Browning, G Philp & R Philp 35 pts, A Parker, A Bennett, W Hill & W Hall 34 pts and B Freiberg, A Lutter, R Eacott & J Pfingst 33 pts. This week will be a stroke competition for the Australia v England Cup, sponsored by One 2 See Realty. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start. Next week will be The Firies Open Day. This is the Glenn Sippel Memorial also a 12.30 shot gun start.
