Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 31 players play a stableford competition. The winner was G Philp with 37 pts, runner up was W Martin ocb from K Rhodes with 35 pts. The ball run down continued with T Lynch & D Forsyth 34 pts, N Hals & J Swift 33 pts followed by M Hassan, A Swift & R Field 32 pts and M Gray, E Meagher, G Hunt, M Sim & C Shannon with 31 pts. J Edwards received the Encouragement Award while the Members Draw Jackpotted. Next week is a stableford competition with Xmas lunch to follow along with a multi draw raffle.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competiton. The winner was B Davey with 30 pts, runner up was D Forsyth with 28 pts. The run down went to J Gurney 26 pts, J Handley 25 pts and M Crowther & S Fahey (who had a eagle on the 9th hole) with 24 pts. The pins shot draws were won by R Maudsley, R Scells & M Hassan. R Fitzgerald won the Dugandan Dice. This week will be sponsored by Mitre 10 playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be a club trophy playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday:
Friendly Fridays’ had 14 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was J Gurney with 20 pts, runner up was K Sawtell with 19 pts, followed by S Bailey with 16 pts. The NAGA was received by B King.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by J McGrath, J Handley & R Eacott playing a single stroke/monthly medal play off. The winner was N Toohey with 67 net, runner up & Monthly Medal winner was L Blunt with 68 net, followed by G Parker with 70 net ocb. The Ladies winner was E Meagher with 70 net, runner up J Wilson with 73 net. The ball run down went to T Grimshaw & W Hill 70 net, S Bailey & S Bennett 71 net, J McGrath 72 net, B Davey, S Francis & R Higgs 73 net, followed by K Kirgis, R Fitzgerald, D Forsyth & K Turner 74 net, M O’Reilly, A Stick, W Gnech, R Brooks, M Gnech & K Milligan 75 net and A Hertweck, D Mortimer & J Browning 76 net. This week will be sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a single stableford/monthly mug play off. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start. This week we have a Social Club using some of the buggies. You will be able to play amongst them though limited buggies will be available. Please ring the club to make a booking so you won’t be disappointed if no buggies are available, or for any further details as we still have strict rules still in place due to the Carona Virus.
