Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 35 players tee up for a stableford competition. The winner was A Stick with 38 pts, runner up was G Hunt ocb from D Forsyth, V Christensen & W Hill with 37 pts. The ball run down continued with D Dann 36 pts, G Gray 35 pts, G Parker & G Sharpe 34 pts, followed by R Humphrey, R Holland, E Windolf, K Rhodes & B Cunningham with 33 pts. The ladies had 7 players tee off with E Meagher having 30 pts & A Brown 29 pts. The Members Draw Jackpotted while the Encouragement Award went to M Fitzpatrick. Next week will be a stableford competition. Monday the 16th November is the Scenic Rim District Day at Beaudesert.
Ladies:
The winner of Juleen Sippels” trophy was Margaret Kuhnemann with 36 pts, followed by Jan Edwards & Nicki Mulligan both having 35 pts. Nicki won on count back. Other scores were Vicki Bird 34 pts, Juleen Sippel & Jan Baulch 33, Jo McAntee 32 pts, Ellen Meagher 31 pts, Anne Brown 30 pts and Kris Cook 23 pts. Ellen won the Accuracy Shot. Championships are coming up soon also the Open Day. Please put your name on the timesheet if you want to play as the sheet is filling up fast. Next week is the last Monthly Medal so last opportunity to qualify for the Medal of Medals. Wednesday the 14th is Ellen Meaghers’ trophy, playing a stableford competition and the last round of the Consistency Cup. Good golfing everyone from Birdie.

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Steve Edwards playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was R Humphrey with 27 pts, runner up was W Hall with 26 pts. The ball run went to J Handley, D Forsyth, B Brown & G Hunt 25 pts and G Searle 24 pts. Pin Shots draws went to R Fitzgerald, W Gnech & B Davey. The Dugandan Dice winner was M O’Reilly.. Friendly Fridays’ had 16 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was W Martin Snr with 23 pts, runner up S Bailey with 22 pts, followed by C Wilson with 20 pts.. The run down went to K Sawtell & G Henderson with 18 pts. The NAGA.was received by G Eviston.

Saturday we played a stableford competition, kindly sponsored by the Boonah Veterans. The winner was B Sampson with 42 pts, runner up was P Ireland ocb from P Gerhardt with 39 pts followed by B Davey with 38 pts. The Ladies winner was S McKenzie with 40 pts, runner up M Kuhnemann with 35 pts ocb. The ball run down went to T Richardson 37 pts, W Martin Snr, R Higgs, M Gnech, W Martin Jnr & R Philp 36 pts, S McLennan, J Gurney, J Pfingst & D Forsyth 35 pts, C Shannon, A Hertweck & T Alchin 34 pts and S Grace, B May, A Lutter & M Simmonds 33 pts. No pin shots due to the Carona Virus but Casey Stumer managed a hole on 1 on the 17th. Congratulations. Pennants
Divison 1 Pennants team lost to Laidley at Sandy Gallop 6½ – 2 ½. Winners were C Perrem & S Bailey while B Lawrance squared his match. Division 2 also played Laidley at Rosewood with Boonah winning 3½ – 1½. Winners were J Gillett, J Townsend & P Leath while I Browning squared his match. A big Thanks to all who played.
