Veterans: Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 38 pts was N Halls, runner up T Lynch ocb from G Philp with 35 pts. The run down continued with A Swift, G Parker, M Gray, T Russell & W Martin with 34 pts, followed by M Maynard, L Hooke & R Stinson with 33 pts. Pin Shots were received by M Hassan & G Philp while J Sippel & K Cook received the ladies. The Members Draw jackpotted, while P Cooper received the Encouragement Award. Next week the course will be closed for renovations.
Ladies: Annette Geiger was remembered last Wednesday as we played for her memorial trophy which is a handsome silver tray donated by Maureen Maynard. Kym Geiger provided the trophy for the day – thank you Kym. We had the biggest line up of players for the year with 18 ladies teeing off. And it is so exciting to welcome girls that have been part of the Go Girls program. Our winner was Anna Tomlinson (a Go Girls graduate) with a net 74. Runner-up was Jan Edwards 75 on a countback from Maureen. Other scores were Ellen Meagher 76, Marg Kuhnemann 77, Linda Edwards and Jill Pfingst 78, Vicki Bird, Di Kuhnemann and Lindy Reinholdsson 79 and other players were Nicki Mulligan, Jan Baulch, Sue Grace, Jo McAntee, Kris Cook, Anne Brown, Meryl Tress, Linda Hooke. Lindy R won the pin shot on 4/13, Jan Edwards was in the hole on 8/17 and Ellen was on the money line. Anna now joins the following players for the Medal of Medals play off the 1st Wednesday in November, these being Marg Kuhnemann, Linda Hooke, Jo McAntee, Jill Pfingst, Jan Baulch and Jan Edwards. Today is the 8th and final round of the Copnsistency Cup and Linda Hooke is our trophy donor. Sunday 13th is the 1st day of Go Girls Sunday competition tee off at 2.30. Good golfing.

Saturday: Saturday we played the Furniture Court Open Day, playing a stroke/monthly medal competition, with proceeds of the day going to the Boonah Primary School.
