Veterans: Monday the Veterans played a stroke competition. The winner was M Hassan with 66 net, runner up R Fitzgerald with 67 net. The run down went to V Riley 70 net, G Philp 71 net followed by K Kirgis 74 net and G Parker & P Cooper 76 net. The ladies winner was J Sippel with 72 net. Pin Shots were received by M Hassan on both 4/13 & 8/17 while J Sippel received the ladies. The Members Draw jackpotted, while W Martin received the Encouragement Award. Tomorrow is a stableford competition. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies: Jill Pfingst was our sponsor last week and the winner with a very good score of 38 points was Kris Cook, Runner-up was the evergreen Jan Baulch 35 and others were Jo McAntee Jill and new player and graduate of the Go Girls program Anna Tomlinson 33, another new girl Nicki Mulligan 32, Anne Brown and Juleen Sippel 30, another graduate Lindy Reinholdsson 26 and Meryl Tress won the madam golfer encouragement award. Jo won both pin shots and Jan was on the money line. Wednesday we are playing the Annette Geiger Memorial which is presented by Maureen Maynard and sponsored by Annette’s daughter Kym. Sunday golf for the Go Girls program will start on 10th October because of the footy finals on the 1st Sunday of the month . Thereafter it will be the 1st Sunday of each month. The Pennants: Division 1 team won 6-3 while Division 2 squared with 2½ each. No Social Club next week due to the footy finals.
