Veterans: The Veterans had 23 players roll up to play a single stableford competition. The winner was C Shannon with 39 pts, runner up G Henderson with 37 pts. The run went to M Gray 36, P DeBeus 35 pts followed by E Windolf 34 pts, G Hunt, L Edwards, W Martin 33 pts and M Sim 32 pts. The mens tee shot on 4/13 was received by C Shannon while A Featherstone received 8/17. The ladies tee shot on 8/17 was received by J Sippel & 9/18 was received by L Edwards. The Encouragement Award was received N Casey while the Members Draw jackpotted. Tomorrow we go to Beaudesert for their Open day. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies: Last Wednesday we were sponsored by Anna’s Hair and our winner was Kris Cook with 35 stableford points. Runner up was Jan Baulch 34, Jill Pfingst 32, Jo McAntee 30, Anne Brown 29, Jenny Briant and Maureen Maynard 28 and Vicki Bird 25. We were joined by Laraine Gurnett, a past member, who visits Boonah golf club every now and then and she actually had the best score of the day – 39 stableford points. Di Kuhnemann and Linda Hooke played a match in the Beryl Drady Match Play competition with Di winning on the 19th hole. Congratulations Di. The money line went to Jill and Anne won both pin shots.
