Veterans: The Veterans played a single stableford competition. The winner was N Hooke with 41 pts, runner up P Cooper 40 pts ocb from K Reinholdsson. The ball run down continued with J Sippel 39 pts, M Kuhnemann 37 pts, followed by G Philp & A Stick 35 pts and J Shine, S Edwards 34 pts & R Patrick 33 pts. Pin shots were received by C Shannon on 4/13 while G Philp & M Kuhnemann received 8/17. M Gray received the Encouragement award while the Members Draw jackpotted. Tomorrow is the Canungra Fassifern Day. Next week will be a stableford competition with a ladies competition if 6 or more ladies play.
Ladies: A long standing President of years ago, Di Vaughan, was our sponsor for last Wednesday. We thank you Di for your continued support of ladies golf. Winner with the great score of 39 stableford points was Meryl Tress and the runner-up also with a good score of 36, was Vicki Bird. Others were Kayleen Turner, Jo McAntee and Jill Pfingst all on 34, Kris Cook 33, Jan Baulch and Jenny Briant 30, Di Kuhnemann 28, Marg Kuhnemann 24 and Maureen Maynard 22. Kayleen won both pin shots and the money line. Next week is the final day for entries for the Beryl Drady Match play so put your name on the entry form if you wish to play.
