Wednesday Sporters resumed with a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, sponsored by B Davey. The winner was A Parker with 30 pts, runner up M Hassan with 28 pts. The ball run down went to B Davey, T Alchin, R Wilkie & B Beasley with 26 pts, followed by M O’Reilly 25 pts and M Maudsley, G Parker, K Kirgis, M Gray and J & I Browning with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by J Browning on 4 & 8 while B Beasley received 9. The Dugandan Dice was won by L Blunt. This week will be sponsored by John Maynard playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by R Scells for the John Allen Memorial playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 16 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was K Sawtell ocb from runner up K Kirgis & M Gray. The ball run down went to K Reinholdsson & J Sippel also with 19 pts followed by W Harrison with 18 pts. The pin shot was received by B May while R Holland received the NAGA.
Saturday
Saturday we played a 2 ball Ambrose competition sponsored by D Ryan & A Leary. The winners were W Maudsley & B King with 61½, runners up were R Humphrey & W Harrison with 62½, followed by P Gerhardt & J Wallace ocb from I Browning & J Nunan and T Alchin & B Beasley with 63 net. The rundown continued with C & K Wilson , G & A Parker and S Bailey & M Schubring with 63½, followed by R Brooks & J Worley 64 net, K Sawtell & J Beasley 65¼, C Perrem & J Yates 65½ and J Lynch & A Heit 65¾. Pin Shots were received by M Schubring & J McAntee on 4/13, T Alchin & A Brown received 8/17 while R Patrick received 9/18.
