Ladies
The honour board event for the medal of medals for the year resulted in a win for Jo McAntee with a net of 74. Jo was presented with a medal of medals brooch. Congratulations Jo on a good year of golf. The daily competition was sponsored by Beryl Podlich and this was won with a net 73 by Linda Hooke and runner-up was Jo. Other scores were Jan Baulch 76, Anne Brown 77, Kris Cook and Maureen Maynard 78. Vicki Bird also played and Robbe Fitzpatrick won the “Madam Golfer” for the day. Thanks to Beryl for sponsoring the day even tho she is no longer a player. Maureen chipped in for 2 to win the pin shot on 8/17 and Kris won on 4/13. Today is the final round of the Consistency Cup which has been played on a monthly basis during the year. It is also our closing day for the best gross and best net for the year. Meryl Tress is the sponsor. Next week is a stableford competition with Vicki Bird our sponsor followed by our AGM at 1.00 pm. Good golfing and may all your putts fall in!

Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was M Maudsley ocb from runner up N Hooke with 26 pts. The ball run down went to B Brown & A Parker with 25 pts. Pin Shots were received by M Hassan on 4, D Forsyth received 8 while A Parker received 9. The Dugie dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by A Parker. This week will be K Rhodes playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will sponsored by R Brooks & M Crowther playing a stroke & putting 1- 9 + 10, 014 & 15 competition. Sporters Championships will be held on the 21st & 28th November.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Friday had 26 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was K Kirgis with24 pts, runner up J Nunan ocb from L Hooke with 20 pts. The ball rundown went to M Hassan 20 pts, M Weber 19 pts and J Sippel 18 pts. The pin shots were received by P Cooper, while K Rhodes received the NAGA.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by The Butcher Co playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner was G Balharry ocb from runner up L Blunt with 66 net, followed by A Bennett with 67 net ocb. The Ladies winner was J McAntee with 75 net, runner up D Wall with 76 net. The rundown went to I Browning 67 net, N Toohey, W Bird, T Alchin & R Brooks 68 net, J Gurney, K Kirgis, J Handley, B Freiberg & M Hassan 69 net, followed by D Forsyth, J Browing & B Gotke 70 net, A Parker, W Hall, C Perrem, G Philp, R Lovell & W Harrison 71 net and D Gittins & B Philp 72 net. Pin Shots were received by D Forsyth & D Wall on 4/13, K Sawtell & J Pfingst received 8/17 while A Parker received 9/18.
