Ladies
The 9th round of the Consistency Cup and Linda Hooke’s trophy was last Wednesday and Jan Edwards continued her consistent form to win the day with 33 stableford points. Vicki Bird was runner-up on 30 and other players were Jan Baulch and Meryl Tress 29, Jill Pfingst and Kris Cook 28, Jo McAntee 27, Maureen Maynard 23 and Jenny Briant won the “madam golfer”. No one managed to get on the green on 4/13 however Jo was the pin shot winner on 8/17. The course now has its green coat on! Wednesday we are sponsored by Marlene Zurvas who continues to support the lady golfers even though she no longer plays. Thank you Marlene. Next week is the Medal of Medal play off for Beryl Podlich’s trophy who is another lady who continues to support the golfing girls.

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Rob Cuneo from Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing as stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competititon.. The winner was M Hassan with 25 pts, runner up R Stinson ocb from D Forsyth with 24 pts. Les Blunt received both 4 & 9 pinshots. The Dugie dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by R Cuneo. This week will be The Pub day playing a stableford back 9 competition. Next week will sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Friday had 19 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was S Riley with 23 pts, runner up K Sawtell ocb from L Hooke with 20 pts. The ball rundown went to J Lynch, J Handley & N Hooke with 19 pts, followed by D Forsyth, R Eacott, G Henderson, B May & K Reingholdsson with 18 pts. The pin shot was received by K Sawtell while P Cooper received the NAGA. This week will be a stroke competition for Big Money Day.

Saturday we played the K & L Forsyth Memorial, sponsored by the Forsyth Family. The Overall Winner was R Humphrey with 44 pts. The A Grade winner was W Harrison ocb from P King with 37 pts. B Grade winner was L Blunt with 41 pts, runner up G Balharry with 40 pts. C Grade winner was K Eugarde with 41 pts, runner up M Dickson with 37 pts. The Ladies winner was J Pfingst with 35 pts, runner up A Brown ocb from M Tress with 35 pts. The rundown went to G Philp, J Handley & A Hertweck 38 pts, M Hassan & J Yates 37 pts, followed by B King, W Gnech, K Wilson & K Kirgis 36 pts and D Ryan, R Brooks, D Forsyth, B Philp & G Ball with 35 pts. Pin Shots were received by B King & A Brown on 4/13, J Handley & A Brown received 8/17 while C Philp received 9/18. The Chook Run winner, sponsored by Mechanics in Boonah was G Andrews with 20 pts, runner up S Bennett with 19 pts. The Pennants team had a great win beating Toogoolawah at Brisbane River 4/1. The winners were Tibebe 3/1, Issac 1 up, Kaleb 4/2 and Clint 3/2. This Sunday we have a Social Club using some of the buggies. You will be able to play amongst them, ring the club to make a booking or for further details.
