Ladies
Wednesday we play for the Gail Grimsey memorial trophy which was presented by her daughter Linda Edwards. Gail was a past President and Captain of our club. The winner was the consistent Jan Baulch playing to her handicap with 36 points. A 3 way tie for runner-up saw Ellen Meagher win on the countback from Jan Edwards and Kris Cook who had 35 points. Other scores were Meryl Tress 31, Anne Brown 31 and Linda Hooke 29. Lesley Rhodes also played. Pin shot on 4/13 Linda and 8/17 Kris. Jan Edwards is our trophy donor for Wednesday.

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by G Parker, J Browning, G Maynard, R Cuneo, R Maudsley & D Forsyth playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, for the Glenn Sippel Memorial Trophy. The winner was Scells with 31 pts, runner up R Cuneo with 27 pts ocb from G Parker & M Hassan. The ball run down continued with D Forsyth & A Parker 25 pts and G Lutter 24 pts. D Forsyth won the pin shot on 4 & 9 while M Hassan received 8. The Dugie dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was won by M Crowther. This week will be will sponsored by G Eviston playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, for the Stan McCullough Memorial Trophy. Next week will be sponsored by M Hassan & W Martin playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.

Friendly Fridays had 21 players tee off for a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was K Reinholdsson ocb from runner up K Rhodes with 21 pts, followed by D May 20 pts ocb from J McAntee. The ball run down continued with P King, R Eacott & K Kirgis 19 pts followed by S Riley & W Martin 18 pts. The pinshot and the NAGA was received by D Forsyth.

Saturday we played the Boonah Rotary Club Open Day. The Overall winner was T Alchin with 42 pts. The A Grade winner was J McGrath 39 pts, runner up B May ocb from V Christensen with 38 pts, followed by A Bennett 37 pts, B Freiberg 36 pts and W Gnech 35 pts. B Grade winner was J Yates 38 pts, runner up S O’Connell ocb from G Philp with 37 pts, followed by M Hassan ocb from R Philp 36 pts and W Jackson 34 pts. C Grade winner was M Schubring ocb from runner up J Potter 37 pts, followed by B Brown & G Ball 36 pts, R Patrick 35 pts and M Simpson 33 pts. The Ladies winner was K Cook with 36 pts, runner up Z Eviston 34 pts, followed by J McAntee 29 pts and A Brown 28 pts. The Social winner was S Bennet 74 net, runner up G Roberts 76 net. Pin Shots were on all holes. S O’Connell received1/10, J McGrath received 2/11, M Crowther received 12, J McAntee received 3/12 while M Gnech & J McAntee received 4/13, B Freiberg received 5/14, D Wall received 6/15, K Turner & J Gillett received 8/17 while G Philp received 9/18. The Pennant Team defeated the Brisbane River Golf Club 3/2. This Sunday we have a small social club. You will be able to play a social round in between them if wanting a game.
