Ladies
Kris Cook provided the trophies for last Wednesday and the theme was growing things…Really great idea Kris! Our winner was Jenny Briant with 38 points and I believe this was Jenny’s first win since joining the club. Jill Pfingst was next with 36 then Vicki Bird and Marg Kuhnemann 34, Jan Edwards 33, Maureen Maynard, Anne Brown and Linda Edwards all had 32, Meryl Tress 31 and Jan Baulch won the “NAGA” with 29. Meryl and Jill both received a lovely cactus bowl for the pin shot on 4/13 as they were the same distance from the hole and Jenny was closest on 8/17. Maureen had 2 chip-ins. The mixed foursomes championship will be play on Sunday 29th July over 27 holes so good luck girls and may all your putts drop in.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by BP Boonah playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was J Gillett with 27 pts, runner up M Maudsley 25 pts ocb from R Stinson. The ball run down continued with B May, G Parker & S Edwards 24 pts. Pinshots were received by M Hassan on 4, A Skinner received 8 while D Forsyth received 9. The Dugie dice winner sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was won by D Forsyth. This week will be sponsored by James Dover (FIS Insurance) playing a 2 ball Ambrose 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by The Butcher Co playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 23 players tee off for a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was D Forsyth with 24 pts ocb from runner up K Sawtell followed by J Edwards with 22 pts. The ball run down went to T Lynch, S Edwards & B Hamilton 20 pts followed by B Brown 19 pts and K Kirgis, G Philp, J Handley & J Lynch with 18 pts. The pin shot was received by T Lynch while M Grey received the NAGA. Friendly Fridays will now be teeing off at 2.30.

Saturday was sponsored by Dovers & Sons playing a stableford/monthly mug competition for the Noel Dover Memorial. The Overall Winner & Monthly Mug winner was J McGrath with 43 pts, runner up C Wilson ocb from B May with 41 pts followed by B Beasley, A Hertweck & R Brooks with 39 pts. The run down went to P King & R Humphrey 38 pts, D Ryan, B Brown, M Gnech, W Gnech & M O’Reilly 37 pts, J Shine 36 pts, followed by R Eacott, M Schubring, J Beasley, G Philp, K Kirgis, K Sawtell, K Wilson & M Hassan 35 pts and A Featherstone, C McLachlan, P McNiven, V Christensen & W Hall with 34 pts. The ladies winner was K Turner with 37 pts, runner up J Pfingst ocb from D Wall & A Brown with 34 pts. B May had an Eagle on the 3rd hole. The NAGA award was received by N Toohey. Pin Shots were received by D Wall & B Davey on 4/13, A Brown & B Beasley received 8/17 while T Alchin received 9/18.
