Ladies
Being the first Wednesday of the month we played a medal round on Wednesday and the winner was Marg Kuhnemann with a nett 75. Every month this year so far we have had a different winner of the medal. Runner-up on the countback was Linda Edwards with 78 and Jo McAntee also had 78. Other players were Jan Edwards, Ellen Meagher, Jan Baulch, Jill Pfingst and Lesley Rhodes. Jo McAntee won the putting with 27 and also the pin shot on 8/17. Good golfing and may all your putts fall in.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by H Gwynne playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was J McGrath with 30 pts, runner up J Handley 29 pts. The ball run down went to R Wilkie & W Hall 26 pts and B Davey, K Rhodes & G Parker 25 pts. Pinshots were received by W Wieland on 13, J McGrath received 17 while R Cuneo received 18. The Dugie dice winner sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was J Potter. This week will be sponsored by BP Boonah playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 20 players tee off for a stableford competition. The winner was M Hassan with 22 pts, runner up S Edwards 21 pts followed by K Sawtell 19 pts. The ball run down went to R Brooks 18 pts, P King, D May & K Kirgis 17 pts. The pin shot was received by Stacey Edwards while J Handley received the NAGA. Friendly Fridays will now be teeing off at 2.30.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by J Gillett, M O’Reilly & D Forsyth playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The Overall Winner & Monthly Medal winner was T Alchin with 66 net. The A Grade winner was G Parker with 71 pts ocb. B Grade winner was M Gnech 72 net while M Dickson won C Grade with 70 net. The run down went to J Browning 71 net, P King & P McNiven 72 net, S Francis 73 net, followed by D Mortimer, J McGrath, R Patrick & B Brown 74 net, G Philp 75 net, W Gnech, T Lynch & K Rhodes 76 net and I Browning, B Davies & J Gillett 77 net. The ladies winner was Z Eviston with 71 net, runner up L Edwards 77 net. Pin Shots were received by Z Eviston & L Blunt on 4/13, K Turner & P King received 8/17 while T Alchin received 9/18.
