Another Wednesday of golf was washed out because of the flooding on the course so the Australian Hotel sponsored day will be re-scheduled. Today we play for Di Vaughan’s trophy. Our thanks to Di for your continued support even tho you no longer play. The nominations for the Beryl Drady Match Play will close on 24th March so please have names on the sheet in the locker room. Next week is sponsored by Jo McAntee and is the second round of the Consistency Cup. Saturday 24th is the 90th Anniversary day sponsored by Blue Ribbon Motors which is a single stableford and Sunday 25th, also sponsored by Blue Ribbon Motors, is a 2 person Ambrose shot gun at 9.00 followed by lunch and the launch of the “History of Boonah Golf Club”. Good golfing and may all your putts fall in!

Wednesday sporters’ was washed out. This week will be sponsored by W Gnech playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by President Royce playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 hole competition.
Friendly Friday
Friday we had 15 players tee off for a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was J Lynch with 21 pts ocb from runner up K Sawtell, followed by W Martin 20 pts ocb from V Christensen. The run down continued with M Turnbell, M Crowther & P King 19 pts followed by M Hassan with 18 pts. The pin shot was received by J Lynch while S Riley received the NAGA.
Saturday
Saturdays’ competition was sponsored by the Brisbane Boys playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The A Grade winner was P King with 72 net, runner up J Worley 73 net. The B Grade winner & Monthly Medal winner was M Gnech with 71 net ocb from runner up F Johnson. C Grade winner was M O’Reilly with 74 net, runner up J Yates 76 net. The ladies winner was A Brown with 79 net, runner up J Sippel 82 net. The run down went to M Savage 71 net, W Maudsley, G Parker, A Heit, J Browning & B Philp 74 net, followed by J McGrath, C Perrem, B Gotke & G Philp 75 net, B Beasley 76 net and D Mortimer, V Christensen, W Gnech, R Humphrey, P Dadds and J Handley 77 net. Pin Shots were received by G Ball on 4/13, 8/17 was received by R Burnett & A Brown while A Heit received 9/18. Sunday
The Chook Run is now sponsored by Boonah Mechanics Pty Ltd. The winner was S Parcell, runner up N Hooke. The ball run down went to 17 pts. Pin shot on 4 was received by J Lye. The Chook Run is open to anybody wanting to play 9 holes of golf. This week we have Swifts Social Club teeing off at 7 am, bookings for the Chook run are essential.
