Ladies
Only 8 ladies played in very hot conditions on Wednesday and our sponsor was Maggie at Boonah Hair Design. Best stableford score was Anne Brown with 37 points. Runner up was Linda Hooke 32, and other scores were Vicki Bird 30, Jo McAntee 29, Meryl Tress 25, Marg Kuhnemann 24, Jan Baulch 23 and Kris Cook 22. Pin shot on 4/13 was Linda and Meryl on 8/18. Anne, Linda Vicki and Jan all had a “chip- in”. Because of the prevailing hot conditions the clubhouse will be opened for us to hit off at 8.00 o’clock – draw will be done by 7.45. Wednesday sporters’ was sponsored by N Hooke playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was M Maudsley with 44 net, runner up K Kirgis with 45 net. The ball run went to R Cuneo 47 net and J Potter, M O’Reilly, G Gray & L Blunt with 49 net. The Best Gross for the day went to R Cuneo with 55 off the stick. Pin Shots were received by R Cuneo on 13, while G Parker received 17. The Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was won by G Parker. The A Grade winner was A VanAnsem with 40 pts, runner up P McNiven with 38 pts B Grade winner was R Humphrey ocb from runner up N Toohey with 39 pts. The C Grade winner was M Simpson ocb from runner up B King with 38 pts The ladies winner was J Pfingst with 36 pts, runner up A Brown with 34 pts. The ball run down went to W Jackson & M Hassan 38 pts, B Gotke, B May & J Nunan 37 pts, followed by A Bennett, I Browning, D Ryan & N Zahnow 36pts and B Freiberg, W Maudsley, P Hourn, G Luttter, B Philp & M Sullivan with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by, K Eugarde & A Leary on 4/13, D Ryan & A Brown received 8/17 while I Browning received 9/18. Sunday
Sunday the Chook Run winner was M Turnbell with 23 pts, runner up B King with 22 pts. Chook run is open to anyone at anytime on Sundays, though bookings are essential as we have the social clubs playing in the mornings. This week we have the Rathdowney Pub teeing off at 8 am. If wanting a social round of golf Please ring the club, as booking are essential.
