Ladies
Our first monthly medal competition was Wednesday and we had 11 girls play. The winner was Anne Brown with a nett 73, playing to her handicap of 11. Runner-up was Juleen Sippel 77, then Margaret Kuhnemann with 78. Other players were Jo McAntee, Kris Cook, Jan Baulch, Jenny Briant, Meryl Tress, Maureen Maynard, Jan Edwards and Robyn Fitzpatrick. Putting was won by Juleen and pin shots went to Anne on 4/13 and Jo on 8/17. Thanks to Michelle of Boonah Flowers for sponsoring the day. Wednesday sporters’ was sponsored by J Gillett playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was M Fitzpatrick with 26 pts, runner up W Maudsley with 25 pts. The ball run went to G Searle & W Gnech with 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by A Heit on 4, R Stinson received 8 while B King received 9. Friendly Fridays had 24 players tee off playing a stroke front 9 competition. The winner was A Brown with 31 net ocb from runner up M Weber, followed by M Crowther with 32 net ocb. The rundown went to A Moore 32 net, G Miller & B May 33 net, J Garwood, J Miles & C Shannon 34 net followed by V Riley 35 net and K Reinholdsson, A Gill, D Forsyth & W Martin 36 net. Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Boonah Real Estate. The A Grade winner was R Cuneo with 70 net ocb from runner up S Niemi, followed by A Heit with 71 net. B Grade winner was visitor J Lole with 65 net, runner up & monthly medal winner was P Dadds with 68 net followed by another visitor GNoe with 69 net. The C Grade winner was M Sullivan ocb from runner up D Gittins with 73 net, followed by C Shannon with 74 net. The ladies winner was J Pfingst with 72 net, runner up K Cook 73 net followed by A Brown with 74 net. The ball run down went to E Byrne 71 net, A Gill & D Mortimer 72 net, J Handley, S Kopeike, K Robertson, S Jensen, T Porter & C Perrem 73 net followed by R Ambrose, M Manning, B Freiberg, A Bailey, R Fraser, A Hertweck, W Jackson, S McConnell, J Stephen & B Brown with 74 net. Sunday
Sunday the Chook Run winner was B King with 23 pts. Chook run is open to anyone at anytime on Sundays, though bookings are essential as we have the social clubs playing in the mornings. We have the Rathdowney Social Club teeing off at 7 am as well as the Junior Pennants teeing off at 11.30. If wanting a social round round ring the club as booking will be essential.
