Our season begins on Wednesday with a stableford competition for a club trophy. Be at the club by 8.15 for an 8.30 tee off.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters played the John Allen Memorial sponsored by R Scells playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was L Vandenbrink with 31 pts, runner up L Blunt with 28 pts. The ball run down went to D Forsyth & R Scells 27 pts, J Potter, N Hooke, J McGrath, S Lutter & M O’Reilly 26 pts, followed by R Wilkie, P Rabbitt, B Brown & J Handley 25 pts and M Maudsley & R Cuneo with 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by G Searle on 4, R Cuneo received 8 while B King received both 9. The Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was won by S Lutter. This week will be sponsored by L Vandenbrink playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by J Gillett playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 13 players tee off for a stroke front 9 Big Money Day competition. The winner was K Reinholdsson with 31 net, runner up L Hooke with 33 net, followed by D Ryan with 35 net. The run down went to A Moore & B May with 36 net. The best gross for the day was received by B May with 43 off the stick. The pin shots were received by B May & M Hassan while D May received the NAGA.
Saturday
Saturday we played the Carinity Break the Cycle Open Day playing a 2 Ball Ambrose competition. The winners were K Sawtell & J Beasley with 61½, runners up were B Freiberg & S Bennet 61¾, followed by M O’Reilly & D Forsyth 63¼. The ball run down went to B May & J Browning and P Dadds & M Fitzpatrick 64½, C Perrem & B Gotke and S Francis & Z Eviston 65 net, followed by A Leary & D Ryan and R Burnett & K Cook 65¼, A Bennett & W Jackson 65½, J Handley & P King 65¾, D Mortimer & P Manitta 66¼ and K Wilson & I Browning 66¾. Pin shots were received by M Hassan & J McAntee on 4/13, B Freiberg & A Leary received 8/17 while K Sawtell received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and won by M Hassan with 20cm.. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and was won by K Turner with 3.6m. Sunday
Sunday the Chook Run started with the winner B Perrem winning with 23 pts, runner up G Yeomans with 18 pts. Chook run is open to anyone at anytime for $5, though bookings are essential as we have social clubs playing in the mornings. We have a small Social Club teeing off at 8 am this week.
