Ladies
We thank Beryl Podlich for her continued sponsorship of the Medal of Medals day and our winner to go up on the honour board is Linda Edwards. Linda had a net 73 and the next score for this competition was a three way tie between Ellen Meagher, Anne Brown and Linda Hooke with a net 76. Jo McAntee was runner-up for the daily trophy however with a 75 and the rest of the scores were Jan Baulch 76, Marg Kuhnemann 77, Juleen Sippel 79 and other players were Meryl Tress, Jan Edwards, Kris Cook and Jenny Briant. With the greens being renovated the scoring was difficult. Putting was shared by Marg, Linda E and Jo and the pin shots went to Anne and Linda Hooke who chipped in for a birdie on 17. Jan Edwards won “Madam Golfer”. Our AGM is scheduled for 15th and on Saturday 18th come along to the Annual Club Dinner. Please book a table as it is to be a special evening. Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was R Fitzgerald ocb from runner up J Handley with 26 pts. The rundown went to W Hall 25 pts and G Lutter 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Crowther on 13, A Featherstone received 17 while J Handley received 18. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by B May. This week will be sponsored by Les Blunt playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by R Brooks & M Crowther playing a stroke & putting 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 22 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was L Edwards with 24 pts, runner up was R Brooks ocb from J McAntee with 23 pts. The run down went to W Martin 22 pts, V Riley & R Fitzgerald 20 pts followed by K Sawtell 19 pts and S Riley, M Hassan, D Ryan, V Christensen, P Cooper & S Edwards 18 pts. Pin shot was received by M Hassan while B May received the NAGA. This week will be a stableford front 9 competition.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by FIS Insurance playing a 4 Ball Ambrose competition. The winners were S Bailey, R Brooks, C & B Perrem with 55½, runners up were D Mortimer, W Gnech, C & K Wilson with 56¼, followed by J & I Browning, M Dickson & S Riley with 58¾, R & L Humphrey, T Richardson & J Baulch with 59 net and J Worley, S Fahey, B Gotke & A Gill with 59½. The Non Golfers were Tim, Jason, Steve, Brooke & Carly with 60 net, runners up were C Jorgensen, K Noe, L Korenromy & L Bailey with 65 net followed by J Dover, Marina & P Campbell 69¼ . Pin shots were received by S Fahey on 1/10, J Worley received 2/11, K Eugarde received 3/12, R Humphrey & J Baulch received 4/13, A Gill received 5/14, C Perrem was in the hole for 3 on 6/15, K Sawtell received 7/16 while G Balharry & J Edwards received 8/17 and M Gnech received 9/18. Sunday we played the Sponsors Day as a Thank You to all the sponsors during the year. The winners were G & C Philp 29¼, runners up were D Ryan & A Leary 31¼, followed by G & M Maynard & T Weatherhead & M Hassan 34 net. This week we are hosting the Pennant Finals.
