Ladies
Ellen Meagher was the trophy donor last Wednesday and Jan Baulch won with the very good score of 37 stableford points. Runner-up was Jenny Briant with 35 and Ellen also had the same score. Other players were Anne Brown 34, Marg Kuhnemann 33, Linda Edwards and Meryl Tress 30, Jan Edwards and Kris Cook 27 and “lady golfer” was Maureen Maynard with 24. Fran Licciardo played 9 holes. Pin shots went to Ellen on 4/13 and Anne 8/17. Jan Baulch had a chip in on 13. Today we play for the Annette Geiger Memorial and the first Wednesday in October is stroke and putting for the monthly medal sponsored by Anna’s Hair.

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by S Edwards playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was B May with 33 pts (this was 47 off the stick), runner up B Davey with 27 pts. The run down went to L Vandenbrink 26 pts, M Crowther & K Rhodes 25 pts. B May received both 13 & 18 pin shots for the day. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by G Searle. Friendly Fridays had 17 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was V Christensen ocb from runner up J Handley with 20 pts, followed by M Hassan with 19 pts ocb. The rundown went to P Cooper & V Riley 19 pts, followed by D May, A Stick, R Eacott & D Ryan 18 pts. The pinshot was received by A Stick while J Lynch received by NAGA.
