Last Wednesday we played a stableford for Margaret Kuhnemann’s trophy and the winner was Linda Edwards with 38 points. Linda has been “on song” lately so well done Linda. Runner-up was Meryl Tress 34, then Anne Brown and Maureen Maynard 33, Jan Baulch and Ellen Maegher 32, Jo McAntee and Marg Kuhnemann 30, Kris Cook 28, Vicki Bird 26, Juleen Sippel 25, Kaylene Turner 23, Jan Edwards 18 and Linda Hooke. Pin shots were won by Ellen on 1 & 10 and also 4 & 13, Jo McAntee on 8 & 17. This Wednesday we are sponsored by Alison Leary and it is the 4th round of the Consistency Cup. Results for the matches for the Beryl Drady trophy so far – Ellen Maegher defeated Kris Cook 4 up with 3 to play (4/3); Meryl Tress defeated Jan Edwards 1 up; Linda Edwards defeated Margaret Kuhnemann on the 19th. Our championships begin this week-end so good luck and may all your putts fall in!
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by G Parker playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was J Browning with 43 net, runner up W Wieland with 45 net. The run down went to J Potter 46 net, R Brooks 48 net, followed by M Maudsley, R Scells, G Lutter, M Hassan & L Vandenbrink 49 net. Pin shots were received by J Browning on 4, 8 & 9. The best gross for the day went to J Browning with 47 off the stick. Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by W Hall. Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays has 14 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was K Reinholdsson with 24 pts, runner up M Crowther ocb from S Riley with 22 pts, followed by P Cooper & J Handley 19 pts. The pinshot was received by S Riley while G Eviston received the Encouragement Award.
Saturday
Saturday we played the Bushrangers Open Day. The winner was N Sherington with 42 pts, runner up & monthly mug winner S Edwards ocb from S Riley wit 41 pts, followed by S O’Connell 40 pts. The ladies winner was L Edwards with 37 pts, runner up A Leary 36 pts. The Social winner was J Peck with 71 net, runner up W Lutter 72 net. The run down went to R Humphrey 39 pts, C Wilson & R Eacott 38 pts, followed by G Philp, B Frieberg, A Bennett, D Mortimer, P King & G Tomlin 37 pts and B Spranklin, K Wilson & T Britton 36 pts. The Accurate Drives were received by L Edwards & G Philp. Pin shots were received by D Mortimer on 1/10, 2/11 was received by B May, 3/12 was received by J Handley, R Cuneo & K Turner received 4/13, P King received 5/14, 6/15 was received by A Heit, B Gotke received 7/16, A Hertweck & J McAntee received 8/17 while S O’Connell received 9/18.
