Ladies
The Vault was the sponsor for last Wednesday and Linda Edwards was our winner on a count back from Jan Baulch with a nett 72. Runner up was Kris Cook 74, followed by Maureen Maynard and Marg Kuhnemann on 77, Vicki Bird 78, Meryl Tress 79, Kaylene Turner and Juleen Sippel 80, Anne Brown 81, Jo McAntee 84 and Jan Edwards 85. Kris won 2 pin shots and Kaylene the other. Linda Edwards defeated Kaylene on the 18th hole 1 up in their match for the Beryl Drady Trophy. There are still some matches to be played before 13th May then we are into the second round. Club championships start on Saturday 20th with 4 rounds of stroke play Saturday, Sunday, Saturday Sunday. Conditions of play for the girls is in our fixture book. Good golfing girls and may all your putts drop in!
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by E Newlove & M O’Reilly playing a stroke & putting 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was W Hall with 43 net, runner up S Edwards with 47 net. The run down went to D Forsyth 48 net & G Searle 49 net. Pin shots were received by W Gnech on 13, while R Cuneo received both 17 & 18. The best gross for the day was received by W Gnech with 55 off the stick. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by L Vandenbrink. This week will be sponsored by G Parker playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Service playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays has 17 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was W Martin with 24 pts, runner up G Philp ocb from Z Eviston with 20 pts. The run down went to R Brooks & A Leary 19 pts followed by P King & R Eacott 18 pts. The pinshot was received by R Brooks while D Yeates received the Encouragement Award.
Saturday
Saturday we played a stroke/monthly medal competiton sponsored by Drummond Golf. The A Grade winner was A Gill 69 net, runner up J McGrath 70 net. The B Grade winner was R Eacott with 67 net, runner up K Sawtell 71 net. C Grade & monthly medal winner was T Britton with 62 net, runner up J Gilbert 69 net. The run down went to M O’Reilly, C Wilson & D Mortimer 71 net followed by R Brooks, D Gittins, M Fitzpatrick, M Weber & R Humphrey 73 net. The ladies winner was L Edwards with 70 net, runner up H Gilbert 72 net. Pin shots were received by J McGrath & Z Eviston on 4/13, B Freiberg & K Cook received 8/17 while C Perrem received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by J McGrath with .84m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery. The Money Pin was received by R Eacott. This week will be the Bushrangers Open Day with both am & pm shotgun starts. The next weeks will be the Championships for 2017.
Sunday
We have 2 Social Clubs playing this week, teeing off at 7 am. You will be able to play after conclusion of play. Clubhouse will be open till 5 if wanting a game of golf. Ring the club for further details
