Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was M Hassan with 38 pts, runner up V Wilson with 36 pts. The rundown went to R Fitzgerald & J Potter 35 pts, A Jackson, K Rhodes, E Windolf & M Maynard 33 pts.
Ladies
Last Wednesday was sponsored by Linda Edwards, our new Captain and the winner was Jo McAntee with 35 stableford points. Runner-up was Anne Brown with 32, Linda also had 32, Jan Edwards and Maureen Maynard 31, Jan Baulch 30, Juleen Sippel 25, Ellen Maegher 24 and Meryl Tress 22. Nicki Mulligan has registered another handicap card and we will welcome her into the competition this week. Pin shots went to Jan Baulch, Linda Edwards and Juleen. Next week we play for a club voucher.

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was M Crowther with 27 pts, runner up J Gillett with 26 pts ocb. The run down went to R Maudsley 26 pts, J McGrath & K Rhodes 25 pts and M O’Reilly 24 pts. Pin shots were received by B Beasley on 4, R Cuneo received 8 while G Parker received 9. Friendly Fridays had 22 players tee of playing a stroke back 9 competition. The winner was V Riley with 32 net, runner up J McAntee 34 net ocb from A Brown & M Crowther.

Saturday we played The Fassifern Rugby League Old Boys Open Day. The Overall winner was J McAntee with 41 pts ocb. The A Grade winner was B May with 39 pts, runner up G Clark 38 pts, followed by A Bennett 37 pts and G Eviston & A Gill 36 pts. The B Grade winner was R Philp with 41 pts, runner up S Francis ocb from K Wilson 38 pts, followed by B Spranklin 37 pts ocb. C Grade winner was D Gittins with 41 pts, runner up P Willett 40 pts ocb from J Shine & D Ryan followed by T Britton 39 pts. The Social winner was B Freiberg with 70 net, runner up W Lutter 71 net followed by N Bickman & G Navie 732 net and D Welge 72 net. The Ladies winner was Z Eviston with 39 pts, runner up A Leary 36 pts, followed by K Cook 33 pts and M Maynard 31 pts. The run down went to R Humphries & C Wilson 38 pts, A Broderick, P Dadds & C Shannon 37 pts followed by M Spranklin, R Eacott, M Gnech, G Miller & M O’Reilly 36 pts. Pin shots were on all holes and received by J Harris on 1/10, 2/11 was received by G Miller, B Spranklin received 3/12, G Clark & A Leary received 4/13, 5/14 was received by B May, G Eviston received 6/15 while A Hertweck received 7/16, D Welge & A Brown received 8/17, while S Edwards received 9/18.
