Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was J Potter ocb from runner up A Jackson, R Parnell, K Rhodes & J Doherty with 35 pts. The run down continued with V Riley 34 pts and C Shannon & M Hassan 33 pts. Pin shots were received by V Christensen & K Cook on 4/13 while J Potter & K Christensen received 8/17. Next week the Vets will play stroke competition.
Ladies
This is the last week of our summer competition and 1st February is the opening day with an 18 hole stableford event for a club trophy. Be aware that the draw will be 8.15 for hit off at 8.30. There will also be a 9 hole competition for our girls who do not want to play 18 at this time of the year. Our Captain Linda Edwards has some very interesting new competitions for play during the year and we are looking forward to welcoming some new players to our day.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters played the John Allen Memorial sponsored by R Scells playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was W Hall ocb from runner up G Prker with 29 pts. The run down went D Forsyth 27 pts, J Potter & L Vandenbrink 25 pts and R Maudsley, K Wilson & W Wieland 24 pts. Pin shots were received by N Hooke on 8 while K Wilson received 9. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by Dugandan Hotel was received by B Brown. This week will be a stableford competition sponsored by L Vandenbrink playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by J Gillett playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 25 players tee of playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was D Mortimer with 26 pts, runner up J Lynch ocb from S Riley with 22 pts. The run down went to R Fitzgerald & B Brown 21 pts, V Riley, K Rhodes & L Edwards 20 pts, followed by J McGrath, P King & A Brown 18 pts. The pin shot was received by J McGrath. The Encouragement Award was received by L Rhodes. This week will be Big Money Day playing a stroke competition.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by The Girls playing a 4BBB stableford competition. The winners were C & K Wilson with 49 pts ocb from runners up J Shine & K Eugarde. The run down went to S O’Connell & S Bailey and T Richardson & B Beasley 46 pts, followed by A Bennett & B Freiberg, S Fahey & G Eviston, G Lutter & C Perrem and M Hassan & W Martin 45 pts and R Brooks & C Shannon 44 pts. Pin shots were received by A Bennett & A Brown on 4/13, M Fitzpatrick & D Wall received 8/17, while S Fahey received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 sponsored by Drummond Golf is currently held by T Britton with 17 cms. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by D Wall with 5.54m. This week will be sponsored by John Collins playing a stableford monthly mug competition. Next week will be sponsored by Boonah Real Estate playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. No Social Club this week, you can tee off whenever you want though the club house will be open at 8 am if wanting a buggy. Ring the club for further details.
