Veterans

Veterans return on the 9th January with a stableford competition.

Sporters

Sporters played a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition sponsored by B Davey.  The winner with 29 pts was I Browning, runner up G Ball 28 pts ocb.  The run down went to G Lutter 28 pts, W Gnech, J Browning & M Hassan 27 pts, J McGrath 26 pts and R Cuneo & M O’Reilly 25 pts.  Pin shots were received by J Browning on 4 & 9, V Christensen received 8.  The Dugandan Dice sponsored by Dugandan Hotel was received by W Gnech.  This week will be sponsored by J Maynard playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.  Next week will be the John Allen Memorial sponsored by R Scells playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.

Friendly Friday

Friendly Fridays had 19 players tee of playing a stableford front 9 competition.  The winner was R Brooks with 24 pts, runner up D Ryan 23 pts followed by V Riley 22 pts.  The run down went to A Leary & P King 21 pts, J McAntee 20 pts, K Reinholdsson & J Handley 19 pts and M Hassan & P Cooper 18 pts.  The pin shot was received by M Crowther while the Encouragement Award was received by V Christensen.   

Saturday

Saturday was our Opening Day sponsored by B P Boonah playing a stroke/monthly medal competition.  The A Grade winner was T Grinshaw with 68 net ocb from runner up W Gnech, followed by R Cuneo 69 net.  B Grade winner was S Francis ocb from runner up C McLean with 72 net followed by S Bailey 73 net ocb.  C Grade winner & monthly medal winner was D Ryan ocb from runner up G Ball with 68 net, followed by C Wilson 69 net.  The Ladies winner was K Cook with 73 net, runner up J McAntee 76 net. The run down went to M Surawski 70 net, W Maudsley & M Simpson 71 net, C Shannon 72 net, M Gnech, A Featherstone & R Eacott 73 net followed by G Tomlin 74 net and G Parker, M Hassan, K Sawtell & V Riley 75 net.  Pin shots were received by C Perrem & K Turner on 4/13, T Grimshaw & D Wall received 8/17 and S Fahey received 9/18.  This week will be a 4 Ball Ambrose competition for Braking the Cycle Open Day.  This will be a 12.30 Shotgun start, with a normal shortened timesheet in the morning.  Next week will be The Girls trophy playing a 4BBB competition.

Sunday we have a small Social Club teeing off at 8 am.   Ring the club for further details.
