Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was A Featherstone with 37 pts, runner up A Jackson 35 pts ocb from A Stick & G Henderson. The run down went to B Brown & C Shannon 34 pts and M Sim, R Harrison, J Potter & V Christensen 33 pts. Pin shots were received by A Featherstone & A Brown on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by K Rhodes & A Brown. The Encouragement Award went to V Riley.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was K Wilson, runner up M Sim. The run down went to M Hasson 27 pts, K Rhodes 25 pts and R Cuneo, N Hooke & L Blunt 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Sim on 13, 17 was received by B Davey. The Dice winner sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by G Parker. This week will be Big Money Day Xmas Closing Day $10 all in the pot with Chooks ntp’s. This will be a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Sporters will resume on Wednesday the 4th Jan sponsored by B Davey.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 26 players tee off, playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was P Cooper with 24 pts, runner up V Christensen 22 pts followed by S Riley 21 pts ocb. The run down went to S Edwards & M Hassan 21 pts, D Ryan, A Leary, K Rhodes, J Handley & D May 20 pts followed by C Shannon, P King, W Martin, B & A Brown19 pts and L Rhodes 18 pts. The pin shot was received by P Cooper. The Encouragement Award was received by R Brooks.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by F & L Johnson playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition. The winners were D Mortimer & P Manitta 60¾, runners up were K & C Wilson 61½. The run down went to A Heit & J Lynch and M Gnech & G Philp 63¼, M Dickson & I Browning 63¾, B Freiberg & W Jackson 64¼, G Parker & L Blunt 64½, followed by J Shine & K Eugarde, K Sawtell & B Beasley and B & M Spranklin 65½, S O’Connell & S Bailey, W Maudsley & W Gnech and G Balharry & P Dadds 65¾ and B & C Perrem 66 net. Ntps were received by V Christensen on 1/10, 2/11 was received by J Browning, 3/12 & 8/17 were received by G Philp, C McVicar & A Brown received 4/13, 5/14 was received by W Maudsley, 6/15 was received by P King, 7/16 W Jackson, A Brown received 8/17 and D Bond received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 sponsored by Drummond Golf was won by T Grimshaw with 2.2m, while the Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and won by C Perrem with 1m. The next 2 weeks will be club trophys’ for those playing golf. Our Opening Day will be on the 7th January sponsored by B P Boonah playing a stroke/monthly medal competition.
