Veterans
Monday the Veterans had a srtoke competition for their Championships. The winner was K Rhodes ocb from runner up V Wilson with 71 net, followed by V Christensen 72 net. The run down went to M Hassan, R Fitzgerald, C Shannon & D Yeates 74 net and S Edwards & V Riley 76 net. Pin Shots were received by V Christensen & L Hooke on both 4/13 & 8/17 while V Wilson received 9/18. L Hooke received the Encouragement Award.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a stroke/monthly medal competition. This was the 6th round of the WGQ Brooch. The winner was M Maynard ocb from runner up J Baulch with 73 net. The putting competition was won by V Bird with 30 putts. J Edwards received both 4/13 & 8/17 pinshots. This week will be a stableford competition for J Baulch’s trophy. Next week will be a club trophy for Annette Geiger Memorial.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by S Bennett playing stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was J Potter with 45 net, runner up B Brown 50 net. The best gross for the day was received by G Parker. Pin shots were received by W Martin on 13, B May received both17 & 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was M Maudsley. This week will be sponsored J Handley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by T Lynch playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 11 players tee off playing a stroke back 9 competition. The winner was E Warland with 28 net, runner up S Edwards ocb from A Leary with 29 net. The run down went to L Hooke 33 net, V Riley 34 net & J McAntee 35 net. The pinshot was received by J McAntee. The Encouragement Award went to N Hooke. We are now teeing off at 3pm.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a stableford/monthly mug competition. The winner & monthly mug winner was J Browning with 46 pts, runner up A Heit 40 pts. The run down went to J Nunan & B May 39 pts, B Freiberg, M Surawski & J Comp 36 net, followed by M Dickson, M Simpson, D Ryan, G Ball, & D Forsyth 35 pts and G Lutter, R Fitzgerald, L Blunt & T Britton 34 pts. The Ladies winner was K Cook with 35 pts, runner up J Baulch 29 pts. Pinshots were received by K Eugarde & K Cook on 4/13, A Heit & D Wall received 8/17 while W Gnech received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by G Lutter with 2.9m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by A Heit with 1.85m. Sunday
This Sunday we have a social club teeing off at 7.30. You may be able to play amongst them but no buggies will be available as we have another group teeing off at 12.30. Ring the club for further details.
