The Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was D Yeates with 41 pts, runner up R Parnell 37 pts, followed by P Cooper with 36 pts ocb. The run down went to G Sorensen & D Gittens 36 pts, M Sim 35 pts followed by J Potter, M Hassan 34 pts &A Jackson & V Christensen 33 pts. Pin shots were received by D Yeates on 4/13 while G Sorensen & J Edwards received 8/17. The Encouragement Award went to V Wilson.
Ladies
The ladies played a stableford competition for L Gurnetts’ trophy. The winner was J McAntee with 31 pts, L Gurnett had 34 pts while both J Baulch & M Maynard had 30 pts. Pin shots were received by J McAntee on 4/13 while V Bird received 8/17. Thanks to the Australian Hotel for their continued support. This Wednesday will be a Monthly Medal stroke/putting competition. This will be the last round of the WGQ Brooch. Our Open Day will be on Thursday. Next Wednesday will be a stableford competition for a club trophy.

Friendly Fridays’ had 22 players tee off playing a stroke back 9 competition. This was the Big Money Day. The winner was S Edwards with 27 net, runner up M Hassan 30 net ocb from N Hooke. The run down went to S’Connell 33 net, T Alchin & V Riley 34 net, followed by S Riley & J Handley 35 net and L Hooke, K Rhodes & B Brown 36 net. The best gross went to S Edwards with 41 off the stick. Pinshots were received by M Hassan, T Alchin & T Lynch. The Encouragement Award went to P Cooper.
Saturday
Saturday was the Boonah Kindergarten Open Day playing a 2 Ball Ambrose. The winners were B Beasley & K Sawtell with 61&3/4 net, runners up were W Maudsley & T Richardson 63&3/4 net, followed by R Humphrey & W Maudsley 64&1/4 net, and P King & J McGrath 64&3/4 net. The Social Winners were C Drabble & P Stanfield 70 net, runners up R Dewar & G Martin 74 net. The rundown went to J Peck & S McKenzie 65&3/4, G Eviston & T Alchin 66&1/4, J Baulch & S Riley 66&3/4, followed by S Francis & Z Eviston 67 net, D Thomson & D Pearson 67&1/2 and W Hall & G Parker 67&3/4. We held our Mixed Foursome Championships. The winners were B Frieberg & K Turner with 122, runners up were J Baulch & T Alchin 127. The net winners were J Baulch & T Alchin with 99&3/4, runners up were K Wilson & M Kuhnemann with 103&1/4.
