The Veterans travelled to Canungra.
Ladies
The ladies played a stableford competition. The winner was J McAntee with 32 pts, runner up A Leary 31 pts. Both pin shots were received by G Buganey. Thanks to the Australian Hotel for their continued support. This Wednesday will be a stableford competition for L Gurnetts’ trophy. The Mixed Foursomes will be on Sunday. Next Wednesday will be a Monthly Medal stroke/putting competition. This will be the last round of the WGQ Brooch.

The rundown went to A Featherstone & R Wilkie 26 pts followed by N Hooke 25 pts. Pin shots were received by R Cuneo on both 4 & 9 while N Hooke received 8. Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 21 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was N Hooke with 26 pts, runner up R Fitzgerald 24 pts, followed by B May 23 pts. The run down went to R Brooks & W Martin 20 pts, followed by G Miller, L Edwards & V Riley 19 pts and M Crowther, L Hooke & E Warland 18 pts. The pin shot was received by L Edwards. The Encouragement Award was received by S Edwards. We are now teeing off at 2.45 so please be early to have your name down. This week will be the Big Money Day.

Saturday was sponsored by the Woodlands Drew Ward. The winner was M Hassan with 42 pts, runner up C Perrem 41 pts. The rundown went to K Eugarde 40 pts, J Buganey 38 pts, followed by J Shine & R Philp 37 pts, G Parker 36 pts, V Riley & T Weatherhead 35 pts and G Philp, G Miller & M Spranklin 34 pts. The ladies winner was K Turner ocb from G Buganey & J McAntee 32 pts. Pinshots were received by K Cook & C Perrem (hole in 1) on 4/13, 8/17 was received by L Hooke & W Gnech while T Alchin received 9/18. We are playing the mixed foursomes. This will be a 27 hole competition. Social players will be able to tee off after the last groups have completed their 18th hole. Ring the club for further details.
