The Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was J Shine with 40 pts, runner up J Arthur ocb from G Sorensen with 38 pts, followed by C Shannon 36 pts. Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played played a stableford competition for M Kuhnemanns’ trophy. The winner was G Buganey with 34 pts, runner up M Maynard with 33 net ocb from A Brown. Pin shots were received by A Brown on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by A Leary. Thanks to the Australian Hotel for their continued support. This Wednesday will be G Buganeys’ trophy playing a stableford competition. Next Wednesday will be another stableford competition for ALearys’ trophy. Both Saturday & Sunday this week and next week will be the club championships. Good luck to all those competiting.

Friendly Fridays’ had 23 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was B Hutchinson ocb from runner up S Edwards and T Alchin with 20 pts. The run down continued Ryan 19 pts and L Edwards 18 pts. The pin shot was received by P King while R Fitzgerald received the NAGA. We are now teeing off at 2.45 so be early to have your name down.

Saturday we played the 1st round of our Championships sponsored by Captain R Brooks. The winner was W Hall with 67 net, runner up ABennett with 68 net, followed by J Lynch & D Ryan 69 net, V Christensen 70 net, followed by B Lawrance, B Brown, S Fahey, C Fletcher, J Shine & J Buganey 71 net and A Heit, M Gnech, J McGrath, P Manitta & A Stick 72 net. The ladies winner was K Wharton with 68 net, runner up G Buganey ocb from L Edwards with 71 net. A Gill, A Bennett & D Mortimer all had an Eagle. Pin shots were received by B Freiberg & L Edwards on 4/13, 8/17 was received by D Mortimer & J Baulch while 9/18 was received by B Lawrance. The Money Pin was received by S Fahey. The Pro Pin on 4 sponsored by Drummond Golf is currently held by N Toohey with 1.87m. The Pro Pin on 17 sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by W Jackson with 25 cm. The ladies winner was D Wall with 72 net, runner up K Wharton 73 net. Pinshots were received by T Grimshaw & D Wall on 4/13, 8/17 were received by I Browning & D Kuhnemann while 9/18 was received by T Grimshaw. The Money Pin was received by T Alchin.
